Do you count calories throughout the day? If so, how many calories do you eat in a day?

I usually do, it helps me keep on track, because I'm a binge eater. I find that if I write it all down, I don't binge nearly as much. I try to stay around 1500 a day, but that's hard, eating cafeteria food, processed, and full of calories, but it's all I get.
I don't count it, I'd be too sad if I did. I'm going to estimate like 2500 a day D: I should lay back on the junk food cause I'm a 5'2 asian girl
How could people only eat 1000 or even less than 1800 calories a day?! That is crazy!
I only look at the nutritional information box on packaged food that I buy. I rarely 'count calories' throughout the day.
I count them, carefully. It depends on how active I am during the day, on the average day I will consume between 500-1000cals.
Not that I'd recommend it to others, it's not easy, or fun, it's just what I do.
i do count calories as the day goes on. i think it's healthy, for me personally, to eat between 1500-2200 cals per day, depending on activity. i think that 1200 is too low unless you are not active at all and elderly.
I try to stay within the 1600 calorie range, but am not obsessive about it, and get some exercise every day.
yeah.
400-1000.
:/
I try to aim for 1,200 calories daily. Unfortunately that scares me. So I range between 500-1000. I just feel like it is too much. But I'm trying.
heck no
I eat when I want and usually what I want. But I do usually count calories at the end of the day- especially if I've eaten junk food all day. I'm always full though and satisfied and I'm at a healthy weight. But I just like to the numbers.
I eat at average 700-1500 calories a day. Sometimes more, if I am going to a football game or a party.
I count calories on my good days...lol. Sometimes its as low as 1100 (I know that's too low), and on my bad days I'd say its around 4000 calories...I try not to have to many of those.
No. It's kind of hard to count calories. I just look at the Nutrition Facts on foods that have them. haha
i estimate how many calories i eat to make sure i'm getting enough but not too many (1400 or more per day but no more than 2000) but i rely more on portion size and satisfying my hunger by eating slowly.
I eat on average 1500 calories a day. Probably a 100 or 200 more really, since I don't count when I eat a bowl of Great Grains at night. XD
I do,
I eat less than 600 on an average day.
I tried the whole calorie-counting thing at one point, never worked out for me. For one, it bugged the heck out of me trying to estimate how many calories were in any given item. I just wanted to eat my meals!! I don't calorie count. Not at all. I eat when I'm hungry, also a lot of times when I'm not hungry. I probably eat more than I should. Just go for a walk if you feel guilty. :P
I used to count obsessively, but not anymore. I find that I consume less calories when I don't count (well...I counted at the end of that day) than when I actually count. I usually eat around 500-1500 a day. Yeah, my intakes vary greatly.
I used to and maintained it between 800-1000.
College kind of hinders my ability to really care about anything else but passing my courses, now. Ha.
I should get back on doing that, though. As well as excercising.
Good idea!
1200-1400
I never count calories.
I check the calories of the snack/junk foods that I eat but I don't count other stuff.
I've never really bothered, but now that I want to start losing a few kilos, I'll have to learn. I only know how much I've lost through my pedometer.
Sort of...about halfway through the day I mentally calculate how many calories I've had and think of probably how many I'll have the rest of the day. It usually evens out between 800 and 1000.
What is the 4th item of food in that picture? Are thouse humongous raisens?
And no. Dont count cals. Just eat healthy foods!
I'm actually wanting to start counting.
I always seem to forget to write it down, or don't feel like keeping track.
Any pointers for making it easier?
