I placed an order today from
Aromafloria.com for my boyfriend who works at a railroad contracting company all day and usually comes home feeling exhausted and sore. I ordered their Muscle Soak kit help alleviate muscle soreness and fatigue. I'll make sure he tests them all out and will post his review on each one, so keep an eye out for that.
In the meantime, Aromafloria provides monthly wellness tips on their site, and their wellness tip for November is The Power of Laughter. I thought it was a good reminder for all of us to just take some time and laugh so I thought I'd post what it said:
A four year old laughs up to 500 times a day. Grown ups laugh about 15.
One of the easiest, most convenient and effective techniques to achieve emotional wellness is to laugh.
When we laugh we:
- Reduce feelings of depression
- Lower our blood pressure
- Promote relaxation
- Reduce stress
- Increase the oxygen level in our blood, giving us more energy
- Increase the endorphin activity in our body resulting in a sense of well-being
- Fight boredom
- Increase our enjoyment of life
So go ahead. Laugh out loud!
All I know is that I laugh too loudly,
but if you hear me when I do, you'll know it was definitely sincere. I also love smiling, it's contagious and can even transcend through the written word (such as from another blogger's comments ). Life should be lived entirely in the moment, and laughter is the best way to do that. Also, the tip didn't mention it, but I've read that laughing also burns calories, so that's always a plus!
How often do you laugh? Is there anything that makes you laugh no matter how many times you see it? Does it change the mood of the day for you?

I love to laugh. I don't laugh as much as I used to though. It just depends. But whenever I'm talking to one of my friends and I laugh, I automatically feel 10 times better.
i laugh all day everyday. when me and my friends get together, we like to quote funny movies we've seen, which can definitely make you either laugh or cry
Wow I'm not even an adult, and I should laugh more. It just sounds good lol =P Looking forward to math more then! (Really funny class)
I just remember the "Why so serious?" quote from The Dark Knight... I'm a little frightened by the title of this post, lol.
A great way to laugh when you're in Las Vegas is to go see the George Wallace Show at the Flamingo (10 p.m.) -- Tell them that FunnymanGeorge on Xanga sent you and you'll get special discounts! (true story!) I have seen his show a bunch of times and first, it's always different and next, I ALWAYS laugh until my sides hurt! It's incredibly great therapy and you're guaranteed to have an awesome time!
I love to laugh and I guess I inherited it from my dad. I laugh when I'm happy and I try to make myself laugh when I'm most depressed. This doesn't make me the happiest person in the world. Just making things easier for me. Sometimes a good hearty laughter can even make my eyes teary. lolz. And I do have a boisterous laughter!!
I enjoy sharing laughter with others. Its easy for me to turn anything into laughter as long as I get a slight cue.
At the same time, I noticed that not everyone is capable of making a joke which is mutually shared by all. Sometimes, my teasing had been misconstrued as flirting. This annoys me the most. I don't aim to be popular or likeable with this habit. Its just meant to feel good and be able to have a brighter day... for me, and for others as well.
I found a video on youtube on Laughter Yoga. Check it out.

i found this post to be interesting. I'm pretty much laughing most of the day. i always find something funny just so i don't get tired of doing the same routine everyday.
It is amazing how infrequently people laugh as they grow up... I will have to make sure I find more reasons to laugh every day!
