Do you buy any fat free or reduced fat products? If so, what are they? If not, why?

I buy skim milk, fat-free pretzels, animal crackers (they're low fat), coke zero, light ranch dressing and of course I have lettuce, fruits, veggies.
I have been trying some. Fat free cheese is just wrong! (Although reduced fat cheese is ok when in a casserole or something)
I try to find foods that are naturally lower in fat - fruits and crackers - to supplement the high fat foods. That way I get lots of good things but still not too much fat!
I buy low-fat milk.
Not skim, 'coz I find it too watery (blame being spolit by lovely thick, New Zealand milk during my childhood).
When I can, I try to go for low-fat cheese, the light Digestive biscuits and once in a while, when I used to have bad bad cravings for Vanilla Coke when I was in Australia, I'd get the Diet kind.
So bad, I know, but thank god they don't have diet Vanilla here, so I've totally stopped drinking all carbonated drinks.
i used to buy fat free milk but it's too watery for my taste so i resorted to horizon organic milk. and i try to buy whatever is reduced fat or fat free if it doesn't take away from the taste too much. i don't like any sorts of diet sodas though.
def big ups to the skim milk.... and usually everything else (smartbalance instead of butter)... low-cal syrups, drinks, condiments, etc etc. You can eliminate a bunch of cals and still eat what you want to eat just by going this route. Some people say they dont like the taste though. Oh well for them.
I buy low fat yogurt, skim milk, low fat graham crackerrs (taste actually better than regular)
Skim milk (won't drink any other)
fat free yoplait yogurt
reduced fat cheese when they have it
lowfat cottage cheese
light bread..5 grams of fiber and 70 calories for 2 slices
cereal bars have to have at least 5 grams of fiber for me to buy them (South Beach has 10 grams of protein)
Crystal Light
Lots of others!
I stay clear away from anything that says "light" or "low fat". I find that the taste is subpar and i love food way too much to sacrifice that. I just buy things that i know i like and usually those things are healthy. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies, meat on occasion, and cheese on occasion. I drink soy milk because i enjoy the taste (also because im used to it, been drinking it since i was 10). If i do get worried about my weight or calories or anything (which i dont) i am a very active person so it all balances out.
1% milk to make yogurt with, and low-fat cottage cheese when I buy it. Also low fat mayonnaise. As far as junk food goes, I practice extreme moderation of the real stuff, rather than regular consumption of the light version. It's more enjoyable to me, and I think I wouldn't limit myself as much if I bought the reduced-fat kind of chips, cookies, etc.
The majority of my dairy products are non-fat or low-fat...
The rest of it, depends on how reasonable it really is...uhm, for me, chips are chips..I rarely get the 'light' version. Baked is about it. lol
Skim milk because I've grown to like the taste/texture and don't miss the fat/calories.
Everything else is full-fat and full calorie because it's much more satisfying; requiring less of it to kill my cravings.
-I'd rather have one full-flavored/high-carb/high-calorie beer than a 6-pack of of watery light beer.
i buy lower fat milk, mayo, yogurt, salad dressing, & cheese. i usually opt for brands that use less fat and better ingredients when it comes to things like cookies, crackers, chips, etc. (thank God for Trader Joes!)
i'm allergic to all fake sugars and they're bad for you anyway, so i just buy things unsweetened and add a teeny bit of sugar/honey/agave syrup if i need it.
Other then 1% or skim milk...I don't buy any fat free products. They seem to not be that much lower in calories...they up the carbs to reduce the fat...and they don't taste good at all. I also don't buy Sugar Free products....I prefer real sugar over the fake kind, could never get over the aftertaste.
Try yogurt thats 3% fat...balkin style, put in a teaspoon of raw cane sugar organic raspberry jam. It's bliss...and better then any premixed commercial yogurt you can find.
I buy skim milk b/c it's all I've ever known and I only have it in cereal, and I buy other low-fat items if the calories are also low. I have a mixture of fat-free, light, reduced-fat, sugar-free items at home, depending on what it is.
I buy low-fat stuff when I know it'll taste close to the stuff with fat.
Almost never. I have a very healthy diet without buying fat-free food. I just eat a lot of fruit and veggies. I buy whole wheat or spinach pasta and whole wheat bread though.
Yeah, all my dairy, mayonnaise, bread and a whole list
Not usually, because they often have more calories and taste like shit.
I buy skim milk and that's about it. The rest is too artificial for me to contemplate eating unless completely starved.
No I don't. Read the book Skinny Bitch to understand why. It's a real eye-opener.
I recently bough some of those 100 calorie packs and a box of Special K breakfast bars. I tried the oreo 100 calorie packs a year ago and I liked them, but this time I got the Nutter Butter.
The one fat-free thing I won't drink is skim milk. I rarely drink milk as it is, since I don't really like the taste or the smell. When I do, I won't go lower than 1%. Skim milk just tastes gross to me.
I buy low fat cheese and yogurt. nothing else though..
I do, I have no choice. I have pancratitis so I can't have lots of fat. That means EVERYTHING I buy food wise, has to be low or free of fat. Milk, cheese, everything.
I didn't use to but yes. I started weight watchers two weeks ago and I've started looking at all kinds of low-fat items. Since I get so few points I'm always looking for a way to sqeeze them as hard as I can.
Lately I've been trying out yogurts, cheese and snacks which are all low-fat or fat-free.
Depends on what kind of fat is present. As for milk, I buy skim. I'm a food technologist/food science major so I take a look at the ingredients listing and the Nutrition Facts label. I try to keep saturated and transfats on the low, and for sugars I try to avoid any of that Splenda/Ace-K/Asparatame/sucralose/cyclamate (Haha!)/sugar alcohols/etc stuff in it. I'd rather have the real thing. ;)
But in general, I do try to avoid the high fat foods if I can help it. Yum, chips and ice cream.
