At home, cause I do it as soon as I get out of bed and don't have to brush my teeth or comb my hair! AND, I don't feel the need to be sociable in front of the dogs!
The gym. I tend to slack at home.
Neither. I prefer to workout outside.
In order of preference, it goes: outside, gym, home.
Theres more equipment and people to talk to, more things to do to work out at the gym so I perfer the gym even though it costs money.
At home, I feel less self conscious. I whip out the work out ball and go to town. But I still try to hit the gym a few times a week.
At home or outside. I get so bored on gym equipment and it's a hassle trying to get all of my stuff together since I have such a busy schedule. I wind up changing 4 times a day when I go to the gym since I also have a work uniform, scrubs for doing clinicals, and normal clothes for class. I'd rather just work out as soon as I role out of bed or whenever I can fit it in during the day.
Both have their advantages. I tend to work harder at the gym (don't want the people around me thinking I'm a slacker!) and it also gets me out of the house... Home is good because I can watch whatever I want and really hussle on commercials (Especially FOOD commercials) and wear extra skimpy things hehe. I do both. :) As for exercising outside... No thanks. I mean, I'll go on walks and stuff, but running or something blatantly exercisey, no. For me, exercise is more of a private thing. (The gym is private in a way..everyone else is doing what you're doing and you have your headphones in anyway.)
I prefer working out at home because I feel less pressure and self-consciousness there.
I prefer to work out at the gym. If I stay home a thousand other things will interrupt my workout and I'll never feel accomplished. Whereas if I head to the gym, that's my only option.
At the gym. I don't feel like I'm getting anything out of my workout at home, plus I have to buy the weights and any other equipment I might need to work out. Plus finding the time and the "want to". If I go to the gym with my sister, we do it at the church that I work at, and we get up early to work out before working, which means that not only am I doing it, but I have my sister to get there, too, which means that I will definitely have to do it instead of chickening out. Added bonus: on each of the machines it has what particular muscle it works out and I can actually see that I'm getting a well rounded workout and not working out the same muscle three different ways.
If I had access to the gym, I would probably go just about every other day. I have no exercise equipments here in the house--a couple of barbells and that's it.
If I had the proper equipment at home, I wouldn't go to the gym. But at least being with other people and seeing other people work out can help motivate you to continue working out.
The gym because they have ellipticals and nice expensive equipment, it's free (I'm at a school) and I'm more apt to work harder & longer since other people are around.
Home gyms are nice, I've lifted in one type or another for a couple years. As long as you have the equipment its nice.
Now, I train in a dungeon gym:

Wouldn't have it any other way!
Outdoors and inside my home. I can't afford the gym and lets face it, I live in the sticks. There's no gym out here anyway.
I have never been to a gym, so it has to be at home.
I do most of my exercise outside by walking.
At the gym. If I am at home, I will have a thousand other things to do and never get to it. I also like that at the gym I can use a whole bunch of different equipment, rather than having to buy the bosu, the weights, the body bar, etc. (I am an army spouse, so using the gym on post is free for me.)
Home
that's really funny that this post came up because I actually did a little workout at home this morning. I definitely prefer getting my exercise from doing something outdoors, but I like strength training in a gym or through a class. I hate working out in gloomy weather though because the cloudiness makes me feel lazy and limits me to being indoors.
i would work out at home if i had all the right equipment because its more convienient.
