Anti-oxidants are magical things that reduce the free radicals in your body caused by breathing. Which in return combats wrinkles and cancer. No one really knows of the longterm effects that anti-oxidants have on us, but they are suspected to be nothing short of amazing. Anti-oxidants come in almost anything healthy, especially blueberries, acai berry, cranberries, coffee, and super dark chocolate. The one I think of immediately though is Vitamin E. It is often labeled as an anti-oxidant.
You get loads of antioxidants in white tea as well :) They help keep up your immune system, so you won't get sick and stuff. It's veery healthy for you :)

antioxidants are nutrients that help prevent damage to the heart, arteries, and tissues in your body. it has vitamins E and C as well as beta- carotene.
Your body goes through tons of chemical reactions all the time. Some byproducts of those reactions are bad, so the body has things called antioxidants that get rid of those bad byproducts. Too much of these byproducts can possibly lead to heart disease, high cholesterol, some cancers and other horrible stuff you probably never want to experience.
The best way to get antioxidants are from fruits, veggies and whole grains. You can also buy supplements like Vitamin C. Be careful though, because in some studies, using supplementslike vitamin E and beta-carotene had no extra benefit and were actually proven to be harmful. So it's probably best if you just stick to a healthy diet and get them that way.

i actually watched this on discovery health channel a few months ago and it was so neat learning about it. of course i forgot a lot of the information. but anti oxidants have certain things in them that boost metabolism and revitalize skin and other organs. i would look up some stuff on mehmet oz bc hes the guy who did the program.
pretty much green tea and any gorgeous red, blue, and purple fruits are full of them. and oranges!
Many of the vitamins we get from food are antioxidants. We've been consuming them our entire lives, but it wasn't until recently that the marketing wizards have hijacked this quaint little group of chemicals and made them into something new and exciting with neverending health benefits.
