Nope. I think medication should only be used as a last resort.
I took Hydroxycut during my obsessive work-out phase. I dropped 20 pounds.
No.
Once, and as you can tell already they didn't work. 0.o Green tea supplements that are intended for weight loss, but my friend's eccentric (but awesome, in the "why do teenagers always have to hate their moms? She's exceptional, kind of way) , half-doctor, half-new age mother reccomended she take daily for some...health benefit I certainly wouldn't doubt.
If hypothetically I were to take them daily and try to lose weight on them, I shouldn't taken them in the morning. Rather than before dinner...
yes any and all perscription diet pills and some over the counter. none worked for any length of time without nasty side effects.
yes (i was 12)
i lost about 11 lbs
no, those sound so incredibly unhealthy. not worth it. If I want to lose weight I just eat more fruits and veg.
I'm totally against taking pills!!
No.
nope. too much 'bad' stuff in them.
i just work out and 'try' to eat healthy
yes hoodia, hydroxicut, and zantrax.
i was a freshman in college. it started messing with my academic career in that they made me sick to my stomach and i was having heart palpultations.
i almost don't think they're worth it.
I haven't but my mom has before...she said that they make you feel "speedy" and gave her severe headaches. I always want to take some but she will never let me buy them.
I took a prescription diet pill once, I lost over 13 lbs in less than a month. However, once you stop taking the pills - you regain all the weight back if not more. SO it's not a very smart choice.
i don't know. pills? that seems to fall under the category of "get sick, take medication"
i took hoodia pills from GNC...around that time i wastaking them i was only consuming around 500-800 cals daily and it really hurt my stomach leaving me feelings of nausea...i dont recommend it and it didnt even suppress my appetite...im glad i didnt pay for them...
nope, and i likely never will.
took hydroxycut (spelling??) worked well..gave me energy..wasn't as hungry..seemed to stop working..so i stopped taking.
no, caffeine from coffee sometimes gives me palpitaions (not really a coffee drinker) what more from diet pills that contains higher doses. --so if you're suffering from any medical condition consult with your doctor first before taking diet pills.
Once. I took them for a week and got really lazy afterwards.
Ive tried a variety of diet pills. Bottom line... the only reason they work is because of either the placebo effect or the fact that they make you feel sick and naseous and therefore unable to eat. Definitly not worth it AT ALL.
yes but not much because i didnt exactly go along with the plan that came with it. people take diet pills so they dont have to put forth effort. so nothing came out of it. i felt like absolute crap while taking them and had extreme palpitations. my stomach was queezy and i had bad tastes in my mouth. no thanks.
Yeh, but only for a very short amount of time before I came to my sense and remembered diet pills don't work, and if in some mysterious way you lose weight from them [probably just a coincidence in timing] it'll all go back on when you stop them! Multi-vitamins are pretty much the only diet related pill worth taking. Just exercise!
hey! basically what everyone's saying is what i'd say. personally i've never taken them. i've thought about it but i researched and asked just like you but they have such awful side effects so i wouldn't take them if i were you. and plus they don't work for long periods of time. they might work for like a a little while but then you'll start to gain the weight back. i think instead of taking diet pills you should take one a day weight watch. i don't know if you've heard of it. it basically speeds up your metabolism.
I hope every thing works out for you :]
I took something I cant remember. I know that sounds weird, but I cant remember the exact name so I dont want to give inaccurate information. It was caffeine and ephedra free, obviously. It did work, at least I think so. It could be all in my head.
I have also taken chromium picolinate, which really works if you do it right.
I took my moms prescribed diet pills once when I was 11 or 12. I know, bad. But they worked. I lost 30 pounds.
I took hoodia too, and they worked as well.
Diet pills arent as bad as everyone makes them out to be. If you do your research and really consider the ingredients, they can be worth it. Though, I am definitely not advocating their usage.
