Kaleidoscope Eyes, Hurting The Eyes With Tattoo
This is a guest blog submitted by The_Prestigiator
So I guess the world is full of bored and antsy homies because guess what's new on the tattoo front?
Yes, you guessed it. Eyeball tattooing. Now, whenever you're angry you can flash those red eyes...or if your favorite color is blue you can represent your preference through your eyeballs.
I honestly am not sure about this procedure. People get crazy things done to their bodies all the time but this is the first time I've heard of eye tattooing. Mainly, it's meant for patients with corneal defects such as leucoma. However, there have been cases where perfectly healthy people have requested an eye-tattoo, just for kicks or cosmetic appeal.
Sure, it sounds entertaining for anyone who lives life on the edge and loves the feel of a needle in their eye but the risks are many including infection and damaging your sight! Also, you can't really have it removed...
Click here if you're not easily disgusted or even a teeny bit squeamish.
So, what do you make of this procedure? Would it be something you would ever remotely consider or are you just as confused as I am why someone would risk his or her health for the sake of body art?

THAT IS DISGUSTING!! eye pain makes me squemish...g'head, call me a baby.
in addition, i think it's corney. tattooing in general
i was number 1 to comment this!! yay, im a loser now lol
Wow, that's um... different.
Stupid.
WHAT THE SHIT?
Ahaa. That's great. I've got a worse one for you, look up "scarification" on google.
Scary as fuck!
not a good idea to click that link if you're trying to eat.
take my advice.*pukes*Okay, that's kind of sort of really scary. The idea creeps me out.
EEK! YUCK! That IS DISGUSTING AND CREEPY!!!!
Yeah; I saw this in one of the learning channels along with the eye jewelry. But to each his or her own. I don't see why anyone would be upset with someone's choice of body art though. Live and let live...I enjoy my body art, but I did it for myself and not for anyone else to like.
That is very freaky. The process looks so painful, why would anyone ever do that. I got a regular tattoo on my arm and that hurt and bled for hours, imagine the eye.
I think its neat. I wouldnt do it. Ever. But its really cool.
@Primo_Levy@xanga - Scarification is beautiful, and definitely not worse.
That's idiotic. And not something that I expect would appeal to a potential employer.
i think its pretty cool. i wouldnt ever do it, though. having a bright blue/red/anycolor eye would be pretty odd. its pretty innovative though.
im a big fan of body art, especially anything that strays from the norm of tribal and butterfly tattoos... lol.and to all the people saying it looks like it hurts... you have no nerves in your eyes or something like that, so you dont feel it. so it really wouldnt be painful at all, if it was done right.
i mean, it'd be cool to have. but there is NO WAY i'd risk my sight just to have awesome colored eyeballs.
oh god this is DISGUSTING
of all things, why would anyone do this? are people THAT desperate for attention?
and even if it doesn't hurt-- it's just super creepy to look at
this goes up there with tongue splitting
i just dont understand why anyone would do this
and it might not be reversible! AHHHHHHH
That looks absolutely terrible. Why would you even want that? All it looks like is someone spilled paint into your eye... disgusting and tacky.
super freeky!
ah!!! it looks painful!!
I would never!
Xo
I have nine tatts and i love em but i don't think i'd ever go this far. to each their own though.
ohhh no.
I think it's not acceptable for me.
It's really scared.
Why are people so quick to say that it's "stupid" or "disgusting", and give negative comments.
Who are these people to judge? Honestly, if you have nothing constructive to say then just shut up.
why not just get colored contacts?
