"I Have Become A Skinnier Fat Person"
Healthkicker
A Google search engine hit found us with this line: "I have become a skinnier fat person."
Can anyone explain what that means? Is that even possible? How so?

Uh...why would someone Google that?
I believe that there are categories people fall in.
And so it goes:
Morbidly Obese
Obese
Overweight
Chunky
Healthy
Skinny
Anorexic
And so you can see how this could be. However, that is only my opinion.
I think this happens when a person for example: starts out at 500 pounds, then they lose 150, they are skinnier than 500 pounds, but they are still considered "fat". So, in their eyes, they are a "skinnier fat person"!
Skinny fat is when a person is small and light, and fit into small clothes but has the fat percentage of a beluga.
For example, when you see someone that looks really skinny and thin with regular clothes, but if you see them in a bikini, they are totally un-toned and flabby.
Misha Barton comes to my mind when i think skinny fat.
I totally would describe myself as that. Going from an almost-obese 180 + lbs. to a chunky 152.... I would consider myself part of that "skinner fat person" realm.....
Not to mention that @AirForceVirgin@xanga - You're right on, with your entire break-down of the weight scale. That's exactly how I would have described it. Haha. I love our culture. We analyze/generalize everything to the death. It's ridiculous.
@AirForceVirgin@xanga - I agree. I'm a skinnier fat person my self. I started out at 260 pounds... Now i am under 200, but still fat, lol. So, I am a skinnier fat person, ta da!!
I guess that refers to a person in between skinny and fat?
it means you`re still fat but you don`t want to eat as much. and no, i was not the one who searched that.
Well, if a heavy person lost some weight then they could say they were skinnier.
@xbbx_xcore@xanga - that the definition i learned of.
I don't get it.
someones whos fat but lost some weight but still looks fat but slimmer in a weird way...?
I am one that has had the gastric bypass. Even though I lose weight, in my mind I am still thinking I am fat. So I understand the phrase.
Put it this way-- I began a weightloss plan October 15th weighing 291... as of my weigh-in last Thursday, I weighed 258. I still have a long weight to go to get to a healthier weight, but I've lost 33 lbs. I've been working out 5 days a week (and once a week with a trainer) and eating healthy and logging my food using the bodybugg program. I'm 5'9" but I still have a long weigh to go, that being said, I'm on the right path and expect to be at my goal weight before the year is over. At this point I'm down a pant size and have lost a total of 17 inches overall. I would say that I'm a skinnier fat person than I was 12 weeks ago, but I'm certainly not "skinny".
@godsreflection@xanga - hahah. AGREED. :) !
i think that would refer to me.
I weigh 110 pounds and am 5'3 but i'm not in shape and have like "flab packs." So i'm like skinny-ish but at the same time fat?someone who lost weight but still considered fat? idk
haha! i guess you'd be in the process of losing weight and toning up, but not quite there yet? still fat but not really? idk.
Skinnier Fat Person...
I guess that mean
They're fat - but they're losing weight
Ex: 250lb -- now they're 200lb ?
OR
A skinny person that think they're fat ?
Like the kind that goes: OMGG IM 105LB IM SO FATTT
But really they're skinny compared to fat* people ?
@bamababe291@xanga - haha, flab packs. i think i know what you're talking about... in the right light my stomach fat almost looks like defined abdominal muscle, but it ain't. Too bad, that.
Honestly, you can still be a "fat" person inside (emotionally or psychologically)...that's how I take it.
When you lose weight, but you haven't reached your ultimate goal? :\
It's when a person has lost some weight.. so they're skinnier... but they're still considered fat. I kind of like it!
you know I could see a much more determined "skinny" person saying this type of comment. They're the person that thinks they're fat even though they are just fit and at the right weight when they believe they need to lose more weight. and when they do they still call themselves a fat person even though they're getting skinnier...
my math teacher last year would describe himself as a "fat skinny person" as opposed to a "skinny fat person." drove me nuts. he was fit and his body just tended to be well-built. i think he was still just insecure
