From Men's Health MagazineHere's a list of five foods
found in products (lotions, face wash, etc.) that can help improve face and skin:
Avocado Oil - Specialty: Dry Hair and Skin Avocado oil hydrates the skin and hair making hair and skin feel smoother
Acai Berry - Specialty: Antiaging Sun damage can cause premature aging. Antioxidants may help prevent the downsides of sun exposure by protecting the skin from oxidative stress.
Buttermilk - Specialty - Sensitive, dry skin Fermented dairy products like buttermilk and yogurt contain lactic acid, which eliminates dead cells and evens out tiny bumps on the skin.
Grapefruit - Acne-prone skin Research shows that grape fruit extracts are naturally antibacterial, so they'll clamp down on flare-ups.
Mushrooms - Specialty: Sun damaged skin A 2008 Chinese study found that
reishi mushroom extract may hinder the pigmentation action that causes ages spots and freckles to develop.
Do you use any products containing ingredients from these foods? If so, which ones?

eek i don't like avocados.. mybe i should just eat a lot of chips and guacamole.
Mmmm, avocados. I even love eating them plain, sometimes with a bit of sea salt on the slices.
Could you please be more specific by mentioning whether it helps by eating them or by putting them on our faces? Cause I'm not quite sure how to put acai berries all over my body...
@ecoutezmonhistoire@xanga - at the beginning of the post, it says found in products. I'll highlight that to make it easier to see
@kash - Thank you! =D
Looks like I need to get some avocados, mmm :)
I doubt any of those ingredients would be "found in products" in quantities large enough to do anything. You'd probably be better off smashing an avocado and having a guacamole facial.
@LadyLibellule@xanga - Most def...making you're own products work far better and cost much less. Here is a really great recipe for a facial toner. Works great. Helps clear skin and I have noticed fine lines are less.
Mac's Facial Toner:
1/2 cup witch hazel
1/4 cup lemon juice
generous tablespoon RAW honey
Put all ingredients in a bottle and shake until honey is dissolved. Use as toner after washing face.
Enjoy!
Mac
i eat all of them
dont forget tea (preferably pouchong tea) is known to improve your skin and make you healthier and it has antioxidant purposes.
I eat all that daily and it didn't do much to improve my skin, i still got facial cosmetic surgery. it was well worth the money
