Too much salt is worse.
I am going with salt, however I dont think dentist would be too pleased if you ate lot of sugary snacks apart from getting a new pay check to fixed your teeth.
low blood.. pressure? sugar? (the one affected by salt) runs in my family so i think for me, sugar would probably be worse (my dad's side has some history of obesity) because my mom was actually told to add salt to as many foods as she can, haha
I think too much of both would end up being bad in the long run in different ways... But no reason to cut them out of one's diet altogether! I love sugar and salt =)
I'd say too much sugar, because most of the time (unless you have a
problem) your body can get rid of the salt if you drink enough liquids.
But sugar causes all kinds of problems, most of the time. Also- like a
girl said above me, I have low blood pressure or sugar (forget which)
that runs in my family. My mom puts salt on EVERYTHING, yet it's still
low.
@OstentatiousEloquence@xanga - low blood sugar
It really depends on the person. It's not a "one size fits all" thing. You have to take into account the medical history of a person and such.
I don't use salt ever because I think it tastes bad, so I will say salt!
i say sugar!
I say salt, because it causes a person to retain water in their body. Sugar, well, if you drink enough water and exercise for an hour each day, it should be fine right? Also remember to brush teeth twice everyday and floss.
Sugar. All salt does is make your body retain water temporarily, and that's if you consume way too much of it.
The sugar that most people eat is the bleached, processed kind, which turns straight to fat in the body, and can cause blood sugar and energy problems.
Also, a salty snack usually has far less salt in it, than a sugary snack has sugar.
It depends on your body.
But on the whole, I would say sugar because it ties into the whole insulin thing.
Depends on what type of sugar. Raw, unprocessed sugar has all the nutrients still in it vs white refined sugar which has been stripped of its nutrients and has the tendency to spike blood sugar and cause a variety of health problems.
depends on whether diabetes or high blood pressure runs in your family.
In general, as long as you are healthy excess salt will be filtered out as long as you get enough fluids and will not cause problems. On the other hand, sugar is quickly metabolized and stored as fat in the body. Excess sugar in your diet will generally cause greater problems.
Talking about salt we never have the salt pot on the table, we have done this for the last 18 years.
Sugar.
I have blood sugar issues so I have to keep eating throughout the day to keep my sugar levels up and steady. On the other hand high blood pressure and artery issues run in my family so for me salt is something I have to be careful with.
Too much of both could someday kill you.
Salt is slightly easier if you're a normally healthier person, than sugar, though.
I've low blood pressure, so actually, more salt is needed with me. The irony of this is, my Mother has high blood pressure.
FUN TIMES AT THE DINNER TABLE, man!
Everyone's different. You can't just say, "OMG all salt and/or sugar is evil!" because we all need varying levels.
i say salt
it depends on your lifestyle.
If you're active, salt would be worse, but don't get me wrong, too much sugar is bad aswell, but in thise case... sugar is bad.
if you're inactive, surgar will kill you faster, and you'll feel like a slob.

To be honest, there are way moer sugary snacks out there than salty snacks. Unless if you're gonna go into small food that are salty and counting them as snacks... then that would seem equal.
I don't know the right answer but I guess salty.
Well... obviously both are bad... but I'll go with salt... 'cus salt dehydrates? i dunno.... and sugar makes you fat and tired?
i say too much sugar.
As far as dehydration in concerned, they're both horrible for you. I know salt does unspeakable things to blood pressure, but excess sugar is stored as fat, is it not? I could be wrong on that. But I think this all depends on the person. It's contingent on what their personal challenges are and how severely they're affected by each.
Lol. I sort of made that up.
