Every Monday, thousands of people wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
Not only are people likely to be nursing their weekend hangovers, but the call from Punxsutawney Phil informed Americans earlier this week that we should expect six more weeks of Winter - unless you live in the Southeast, where their groundhog General Beauregard Lee did not see his shadow.
Regardless of the reason, any Monday is not much different than the Mondays that came before it... for many of us suffer with
a serious case of the Mondays.
I try to avoid this weekly epidemic by going to sleep early on Sunday nights, eating a good breakfast on Monday mornings, and listening to some upbeat tunes on my way to class and work. Although these do
help me get through the beginning of the week, they definitely do not cure me of my Monday Blues.
What gets you through the beginning of your week? Do you kart-wheel out the door on Fridays, screaming "T.G.I.F!"?

I hate Monday and yes I do cartwheel out the door on Friday's yelling "T.G.I.F!"
Mondays are okay. Always start off the day with a nice breakfest and a listen to my favorite morning radio show.
I do get excited when Friday comes around. I wouldn't say cartwheel out the door, but more like an extra giddy-up in my step.
When you're a workaholic, everyday is the same damn day ><.
just think of how you're going to gt through that day and not the rest of the week.
Mornings are a bear but by lunchtime I feel better.
@kmiahali - That's what I do.
I come in and worry about getting through the day with a positive attitude without thinking about how many days I actually have left to go. I think upbeat music definitely helps.
On Mondays, I also try to dress extra comfortably so that way I'm not in an even worse mood because my jeans are too tight. I also make sure I nap as soon as I get home from school on Monday (if I don't have work that day, although I usually do) so that way I'm not so cranky later in the evening.
I hate monday mornings. I am always so tired and cranky.
i hate mondays too
monday is just another day for me.. i dont experience any difference in mood.
For me, Tuesdays are my Mondays. Think it's cause my sleep pattern will kick in then, and I just frickin drag Tuesday morning. I try to get to bed earlier, eat breakfast, pack the night before (lunch, workout stuff), do whatever it takes to keep me from getting down in the dumps.
