I look young apparently. This past weekend, I was even carded at the local mall because they thought I was under 18 when in fact I'm almost 21.
And it's not the first time this happened at the mall.
I have no idea.
young.
I personally think I just look my age, but no one agrees with me.
Ever since I hit puberty I've looked older than my age.
I honestly think I'm beginning to REALLY look my age. I'm 22 and I'll be 23 in May. It's time to pull out the anti-aging creams.
Most people guess that I'm younger than I am, but I think they are just being nice.
Throughout my entire life, everyone has thought I was a good 2-3 years older than I actually am. I'm turning 21 next week and I've been told by several people where I work that they think I'm still in high school when they first notice me.
I look my age,may be my body look younger since I am really petite and thin, but when people have to give me an age, they often say "between 19 and 22"
I look younger than I am.
My face makes me look way younger than I am. A year ago I had a bartender tell me I looked like I was 15. That will all be over soon as like every other member of my family, I'm going prematurely gray.
I am young but I'm always told I look about 17 when I'm almost 20. I get asked "what grade are you in" when I'm in 2nd year university and people are shocked when I say "I'm 19". It's not good since I want to look older or at least look my age but when I am older I'm hoping the youthful looks will stay and people will think I'm younger :)
Younger.
I just turned 19 on Tuesday, but people constantly think I'm anywhere from 13-16. I was in a tobacco shop and actually got accused of having a fake ID.
Trust me, if I were to spend my money on a fake ID, I'd have it say I was 21, not 19.
I was going off to college the following day, and saying my goodbyes to some people at the barn, and one of the instructors was like "where are you going?" I told her I was going to college. She was like, "no kidding! I thought you were like 14!"
Thanks.
Younger. A couple of examples...
- I bought my car secondhand from a guy. He asked if I was finishing up high school when in fact, I had graduated from university about 6 months prior.
- I got carded at a rated R movie (more than once) when I was 23.
Right now, at 24, the general consensus is that I appear to be 19 or 20. I disagree... I think I could pass for 21 but not much younger than that.
Younger, when someone was doing a survey last year she thought I looked two years younger than I really am. I was quite happy with that,
i look younger than my age, but thats with most asian people
young... THANK GOD!!!!!!
I look old. I'm 19 and every one cards me when I say that. Why? Because they think I'm in my mid-twenties. Not so great for me later on, but when I was 14 looking 18 helped. :)Â
People always think I'm younger than I am until they spend time with me, then most think I'm older. I'm 21 and I think I look about 19, but a lot of people I work with think I'm about 24.
I look younger. people think I'm like 5 years younger. I think I've passed for a teen once or twice lately and I'm 25. how can I date someone my age if I'm thought of as younger?
at least I don't get carded as much lately
@fiery_redhead@datingish - I know the feeling! I was always thought of as older growing up. When I was 15/16, I easily passed for 18. But the minute I turned 21, somehow I began to look 18 again. I once got my ID confiscated at a bar because they didn't believe me. I had to go all the way back to my car to get my military ID before they believed I'm actually 23. Agh! People always act surprised when they find out how old I am. I think I look older!
younger
younger. everyone asks me what grade I'm in. um, yeah, I graduated from college 3 years ago. that really doesn't help since I'm a teacher! you don't know how many times I got stopped by other teachers & security my first semester teaching high school!
I'm gonna be 20 in a month and the guesses of my age vary from 14-17. It totally doesn't help that I'm like 4 ft 11 so I've even got the right stature, hah.
Last summer, I worked at a summer camp and when I asked some of the girls how old they thought I was they said that if they didn't know you had to be 16 to work, they'd assume I was like 13. -_- What's weird though is that I've also had the complete opposite and have people think I was like 20 when I was 15 because of the way I talk. People over the phone think I'm older too. It's weird. But I guess it'll be nice when I'm 30ish, hah.
Apparently, older people think I'm a lot younger than I am. I still get questioned about why I'm not in school and whether I'm of legal age. I guess I should be flattered. (I'm over 30.)
