  • Pancake Eating Champion Dies After Eating Pancakes!

Mom always told you to make sure you chew your food before you swallow.

48-year old Boris Isayev choked to death after winning Russia's pancake eating competition, part of Maslenitsa, Russia's end of winter/beginning of spring festival.

News reports say that Isayev won, and then died on the spot when trying to collect his pancake award.

How do you feel about renowned food-eating contests, like the Maslenitsa's pancake eating competition, or Nathan's hot dog eating contest held in July?  Do you think they trigger bad eating habits, or are they all in good fun (until someone chokes and dies on their favorite food)?
