Ever Hear of Vegansexuality?
Besides homosexuality, heterosexuality, transexuality, and the other sexualities, there is now vegansexuality. Well, it probably existed a long time ago.
Vegansexuals are vegans/vegetarians who only have sex with other vegans/vegetarians. Meat-eaters are "kind of a graveyard for animals."
Here's a Link to an article touching on the topic.
Have you ever heard of such a thing as vegansexuals? If you're a vegan, would you ever consider this option?

I haven't heard of that specific term before, but I've heard of vegan people not having sex with non-vegans.
I used to be a vegetarian and I didn't care if my SO ate meat. It didn't bother me.
Um, no? It's news to me. But I personally don't care if I am with a meat eater or not, as long as they don't give me flak about being vegan.
Live and let live!
Wow, never heard of that!
I wouldn't care if they ate mean,
I mean, I still eat fish, just no red meat.
I don't think what my SO eats should really affect anything important.
I haven't ever heard of the term, but I figured that at least some vegans were going to do that. Some of them are so passionate about being against meat eating and all of that, that they wouldn't be able to stand being around a person who does it. *shrug*
Plus, if one person loves meat and the other refuses to eat it? I imagine that'd throw atleast a few complications into things.
lol i want to be a vegan sometime in my life but i dont think it matter if my partner does or dont lol...
It doesn't surprise me that it exists, but I wasn't aware that they'd coined a term for it.
mmmk...
Now how does one vegan does a BJ if he/she doesn't touch meat in the first place?
@reckless_eagle@xanga - lol!! but technically the person is not eating !! >.<
@reckless_eagle@xanga - You're amazing.
@s_h_a_sha@xanga - Some vegans, if not all, won't even TOUCH meat. :P
@s_h_a_sha@xanga - don't tell me she's only going to do a BJ if she dresses his 'crown jewels' like a carrot... or a broccoli...
@antimony_demon@xanga - a human body is made of meat itself. Heh. Unless a vegan wants to make love to a carrot?
I'm rec'ing this article cos I'm curious what other vegans/non vegans think of this new term.
@reckless_eagle@xanga -ewwww... of all vegetables, u used brocolli and carrot!!!! i love those vege.. now i am gg to eat thinking something stupid..lol use a vege that taste bad lol like a cucumber or something ...hehe
@reckless_eagle@xanga - Can I say OW?! If you pushed it in deep enough you could make the vegan bleed. Vegetables can commit animal cruelty too!
@s_h_a_sha@xanga - Cucumber? Girl, if only you see the sizes of cucumbers these days... holee! Heh.
@antimony_demon@xanga - Heh heh... just using my imagination there. Vegans can be sexual animals themselves, if they know how to play the sexual games @ foreplay well. To know that they won't physically touch meat itself is intriguing enough, I didn't know they'd go as far as not touching meat eaters as well.
reminds me of this one porno program that was shown on Cinemax once
@mr_faust@xanga - You perv you. Ok explain
in graphic details!
@reckless_eagle@xanga - lol! i dun know seriously... i dun pay attention to cucumbers (both kinds) ... :)
lol a graveyard for animals? that's the first time I've seen that.
I new about vegansexuality, but I didn't think there was a name for it... I've heard that vegans have greater sex than meat-eaters. Apparently they taste better too, but I couldn't tell you about that lol.
I think I'll inevitably end up with someone who is at least a vegetarian. It would be a big common interest and a heck of a lot easier at dinner time.
I've heard of it. I laughed pretty hard but it does make sense, in a weird sort of way.
I am vegan, my husband is omnivore. There are things that bother me about that but sex is not one of them.
It makes sense that some vegans or vegetarians wouldn't want to be in a relationship with someone who isn't vegan or vegetarian themselves, because a lot of time their diet choice isn't just a diet choice, it's based on their morals and their way of thinking. Personally, I don't know anyone like this nor would I turn someone down simply because they weren't a vegetarian or vegan, but I have heard the term and I understand where they are coming from.
Lol WHAAT?
That's the dumbest thing I have ever heard. They make it sound like a cult.
@NatalieTheSaint@xanga - I don't see how having a diet of only/mainly fruits and veggies would affect your skill in bed, but yea, you are supposed to taste better.
I think they say to get the best taste you should drink a cup of pineapple juice a day. But its supposed to work for meat eaters as well :P
I guess the absence of meat just allows the body to absorb the fruity taste faster.
