Anti- Smoking Ads: Do These Work?
Here's a few, supposedly funny, anti-smoking commercials. They're not great but seem to be better than those truth commercials:
Are these commercials better than the Truth ads?

The first one is dumb because its not smoking that's killing them, its them being stupid enough to stand on one of those lifts with that many people.
The second one is ridiculous in that no smoker produces that much smoke, like ever.
The third one just reflects on how much of a crazy bitch the woman is. o_o;
Smokers know its unhealthy, its not gonna stop them from smoking. Just like you all know that drinking soda, eating fast food, drinking alcohol, inhaling perfumes, etc isn't good for your health and you do it anyway.
Last one is great. haha.

well I'm a non smoker, so I can't tell you if it worked on me!
but any anti-smoking anything is good to see, at least some sort of message is being sent out!
Why do I or you need to see an ADD about anit - smoking ? theres a reason why we all have friends and eye we all have friends who smoke and we see others regaurdless of where we go theres gonna be peoplee who we dont know who smoke ! so what good will the anit smoking adds do ?
The last one is random and funny, haha! These seem a bit more entertaining than the Truth commercials... at least.
The first one was mildly entertaining, I love irony. The other two were pretty stupid. Anti-smoking ad's are ineffective. Why would tobacco companies use money for anti-smoking ads if they thought they would be effective.

i watched all three of these videos and i still want a cigarette
In singapore, they tried putting up posters showing woman with rotton teeth, mouth cancer..etc. but i still see people smoking although many feedback on how horrible and scary the poster is.
They even print pictures of cancerous lungs, premature babies, mouth cancer patients..etc on the cigarette boxes but i still see people buy and smoke.
Now they are restricting the smoking areas, but smokers still managed to find a way to smoke.
so i wouldnt say it is 100% effective. It may work for some but not for all. there are still alot of smokers out there.
