Have you ever been sunburned? Where were you and what part of the body got burned?

Sunburn is my life. I've been sunburnt just about everywhere...except the places that are always clothed, haha. I've been hospitalized via sunburn...it sucks. I get blisters and sun poisoning. My skin turns black and peels off. I wear SPF 80.

I was once on a medicine that made me so sensitive to the sun that I had to always wear long sleeves, long pants, gloves, etc. whenever I went outside... and I still got burned really badly to the point where people thought I had some kind of skin disease.

Does anyone ever not get burned, though?

I have only burned twice in my 21 years. I burned on my shoulders because I was at the beach all day without any sunscreen on. Gotta love being mixed:)

I sunburned not only the first skin but also the second one...for some year I had to give up sunbathing...well..at least sunburning isn't my life...

I have only been burned twice. It was on my shoulders. I usually never put on sunscreen (aside from my face) and I do not burn at all.

Is there any fair-skinned person alive who hasn't been burned?
I used to burn pretty badly as a kid. Even sunblock didn't always help much.
Sunburns and freckles... the sun doesn't like those of British descent.

Everytime I go out more than 20 minutes when the sun is really shining... When I was young there was no problems, My mum ever gave my sunscreen. but while becoming a teenager, even with sunscreen I was burning ! But I am really pale with freckles, even if I am brown haired so... I don't go out when the sun shin too much without my sun-umbrella !

nope. i just get really really tan
as of right now i already have 89475987987987 tan lines - I live in Toronto, Canada - have been wearing shorts since feb.

Yeah. I haven't really been burnt from the sun itself since I was 8ish, but last year, it was from a tanning bed.

I don't recall a summer where I haven't been burned at least a little bit!
The worst was when I was on vacation and sunbathed on a rock in the middle of a lake. When I got back to our campsite, my friend noticed that my ENTIRE body resembled a lobster. I spent the rest of the trip wearing sweats and sitting in the shade being miserable. :(

I only remember getting burnt on my nose. I am sure that I have had other mild sun burns though.

No, not really. I get a little red for a few hours to a few days, depending on how long I was in the sun. It doesn't burn, it doesn't hurt, it's just my skin turning a little pinkish or red. Then my skin typically goes back to the nice light color that it always is. It's extremely difficult for me to even get a tan, I'm glad that I don't try. :B

I know I got sunburnt really badly when I was one or two, my parents were pretty worried. Once I got sunburnt on my eyelids, that was pretty ridiculous and painful. I have been sunburnt many-a-times, but once I got a bit older I started being pretty hardcore about my sunscreen wearing. I went to the beach for spring break and I was the only one of my friends to not get sunburnt. Yay for trying to prevent skin cancer!

What kind of a question is that?! Of course I've been sunburnt! I've gotten it on my back, neck, face, arms, legs and feet. I think I get one on my face every year.

So far this year, I've gotten sunburned on my scalp (short hair ) and ears. I should have known to put sunblock on my ears, but not on top of my head, as that has never happened before!

shoulders and arms when I was at the beach. my skin was red as a lobster and peeled like a shedding snake the next day. gross, huh I had to give that visual. anyway, I have extremely sensitive skin. I should've put suntan lotion but I hate the coppery smell. I wasn't even in the water. I can't swim lol I was just lounging around watching the ocean waves
