What do you think is the first sign of bad health; weight gain, feeling sluggish, craving bad foods, or can't sleep at night?

For me it was ending up in the hospital and almost dying and therefore ending up many different medicines a day.
In general I think it is when you gaining weight/losing too much weight, generally not taking care of yourself and not caring. Poor eating habits and poor exercise habits, I think is the first.
I would say poor eating habits and no motivation to change. BAD combination.
It's hard to put a lid on the first sign of bad health. I think it begins with your thinking about yourself which extends to the unhealthy eating, lack of sleep, weight gain... and feeling sickly. If you have insecurities, low self esteem, fears, anxieties, emotional pains and scars... these are what lead to one neglecting their health and making unwise decisions.
eating a burger like that! yuck...
Feeling sluggish. Though for me that comes from not taking an iron pill. That burger actually looks good to me. :O
I think it may be feeling sluggish.
I look at my skin. It's a good way to see if there's something wrong....
my nails are also a good indicator. if they are awful it generally means a lack of something..
i think a noticeable sign would be feeling sluggish and i dont think craving bad foods means you have bad health, or even eating one burger.
when you get out of breath from walking up a not very steep hill...
weight gain can be a good thing in some cases. but when you FEEL sluggish and you have a difficult time moving around (doing daily routines like walking up the stairs) then there's something you need to improve for the sake of your health and enjoyment in life.
mentally speaking, lack of sleep is bad. when you don't get enough sleep, the rest of your body faces consequences. you then become physically weaker as well and your performance during the day shows.
I'm not going to lie, that burger looks deliciously disgusting. lol. btw i love reading all your blogs. I follow you on facebook everyday. :) Maybe you should check out my fitness forums for some good health info and tips.
@Paizleygrl@xanga - I second that.
I would say feeling sluggish. As a general whole, it's a sign that your body is laden down with bad stuff, so that's going to be the first sign, even if you don't gain weight.
I agree with everyone who said feeling sluggish. I know when I start to slack off that's always the first thing that happens.
weight gain because that leads to the other problems. duh.
i want to put that burger down my pants and then eat it
boredom.. lack of knowledge of foods that are bad for you.. or just general bad food habits
1....clogged arteries galore...
2....who needs the buns when you have so much meat?:P
weight gain.
other than craving, all of the above.
feeling slugish would probably be the first signs... because nutritious foods provide your body with the energy you need throughout the day, and if you're not meeting your proper body type needs and nutrients everyday, you'll start to feel sluggish... you'll probably think that it's the lack of sleep, but most cases you're wrong...
Being an idiot.
Not having a good healthy and whole hearted shit on a regular basis and or the chills.
I'm talking about a real good shit.
sadly enough, all of these :
weight gain, feeling sluggish, craving bad foods, or can't sleep at night
seem normal to me. or at least these are normal aspects of me.
definitely feeling sluggish
