Depends on how bad I'm sick. I like to be pampered sometimes, but then again, I like to be alone and just get it over with.
My mom will go to the store and buy me Gatorade and anything else I want. She likes the fact that she can still be there for me. What can I say? My mom is great.
My mom is wonderful at taking care of me when I'm sick - but unless it's to the degree of being hospitalized - I prefer to take care of myself when I'm ill. I tend to withdraw into myself and want to be alone... shut out the world until I'm well again. It's strange... but it works.
I tough it out, get ornery and want to be left the hell alone.
I'd just take medicine and sleep it through or something. Usually like to be left alone too.
needyyy
TOUGH IT OUT.
tough it out...
I usually like to be alone, but if it's not like passing out on the bathroom floor and throwing up every 10 minutes sick, it's kinda nice to have someone to cuddle with and hold you and just watch tv with.
Depends on how sick I am. Also, I like to be taken care of, but I will not ask for help unless I CAN'T physically do something myself. I'm independent (and stubborn) like that!
NEEDY ^___^
When I get sick it's the real deal. I don't mess around. My wife has to get me stuff or I go without. Visa versa. I try and pamper her. It really feels good to have some one there for you when you are sick.
I will tough it out for as long as possible. I absolutely hate the idea of being dependent on someone. I would deter any help until someone had to force their aid upon me. I'm very stubborn that way.
I tough it out, but still expect special treatment haha.
tough it out always
It depends on how bad I feel. If it's simply a regular cold, I'll tough it out. If I feel like I'm on the verge of death, I'll be whiny (though not out loud.) I don't think I'm ever "needy" because of a sickness.
Both. I try to tough it out for as long as I can, but I'm not afraid to ask for care when I need it.
I'm kind of a mix, I like to be left alone for the most part, but I also tend to not eat when I'm sick until I get really hungry, so I NEED someone to look after me and make sure I eat, but leave me alone for the most part.
I do have a guy friend who is INCREDIBLY whiny when he is sick, you wouldn't expect it from him as he is sleeved with tattoos and sings in a heavy metal band
It's a toss. I usually tough it out but when I have relatives babysitting, I'd get bossy/whiny and orders them around just for the fun of it.
Oh, and I just got discharged from a hospital less than 48 hours ago.
Needy. =[
Most of the time when I'm REALLY sick, I pretty much can't move without wanting to hurl..
So I need someone around to bring me drinks and food and things. =P
Achieving health and remaining is an active process. For
effective strategies for staying health and improving one's health you should have a good nutrition. Personal health depends partially on the social structure of one's life. The maintenance of strong social relationship is linked to good health conditions, longevity, productivity, and a positive attitude. This is due to the fact that positive social interaction as viewed by the participant increase many chemical levels in the brain which are linked to personality and intelligence. Even with real problems to deal with, some people just can't put the payday lending dispute on the backburner. South Carolina lawmakers decided to cancel the payday lending dispute altogether, by rejecting a bill capping payday loans to 25% of a borrowers' monthly income or $500 (lowest of the two). Consumer advocates hate it, as they want to see the practice of payday lending done away with altogether. Many of them would doubtless give all kinds of installment loans to end the payday lending dispute in their favor.
I hate hate hate it when people try to cater to me when I'm sick! It just makes me feel worse and scummier than I already do.
If it's really bad, I'll ask someone to bring me some toast or tea, but if I'm at all capable of doing it myself, I'd much rather do that.
I do whatever I need to do to be comfortable.
I tough it out. I don't take sick days. I work just as hard as any other day.
I've always loved to take care of people when they're sick and never expect it back (in fact, cleaning and cooking for people is just what I do...it's just second nature...I guess I'm just natraully a mother figure)...if someone does something for me I'm usually star struck by the attention and gesture but I am really touched and thankful. I'm really, really not use to people helping me out in any shape or form.
If I'm sick my boyfriends mom usually makes some tea for me
while my boyfriend is OVER spraying his room with Lysol lol
I become needy, LOL. My husband on the otherhand is very brave and toughs it out.
