That I'll die of a heart attack. I already get random pains in my arms and sometimes my neck. I go to the gym but I haven't felt a difference.
being overweight.
Mad cow disease.
Hey, the question didn't ask whether it was a rational fear.
cancer, because it runs in my family, big time
oh and being fat.. which is too late for that one
Cancer....or like a random asthma attack... i am not diagnosed with it but I have difficulty breathing and weezing sometimes
Predisposed diseases... but sometimes one can fight them. Colon cancer and strokes run in my family, but I can combat them both with a good diet, high in fiber and with exercise.
another surprise life-saving major surgery that was supposedly completely unforseeable T_T
Bad breath, nail fungus, hair loss only on one side of the head, and a paralized sphinxter muscle. All at the same time.
liver failure.
Pregnancy. But that's pretty unrealistic for me. ha.
Getting diabetes and dying of a massive heart attack. That's how my dad died.
Also, completely losing my sanity and killing myself, intentionally or otherwise.
Does getting old count?
diabetes cuz i'm a sugar freak and my grandma had it (she was over weight though).
cancer would be next.
Getting chubby. Or fat. Anything along those lines.
@twiggy_bebe_1995@xanga - Ask your doctor if he or she can refer you to a pulmonary function testing lab. It's an annoying test, but that will be able to officially diagnose you with asthma or another lung disease so your doctor can treat it and you won't have to worry about it anymore.
Being in the medical field has turned me into a hypochondriac. Every time I get the slightest pain or something weird, I immediately think the worst. I guess my biggest fears are cancer, heart disease and not getting a strong enough dose of anesthesia if I have to go in for an operation. Can you imagine being able to feel people cut you open but not being able to tell them? Ugh.
Anything that would cause me to lose the use of either a sense or part of my body.
Getting what Dr. House's patients have without having House to diagnosing it?
@thinkin_up_dreams@xanga - I get those too - it's due to my scoliosis that is extremely mild, went undiagnosed for years, but sometimes compresses my organs or muscles and causes random sharp pain. No fun, but it's actually harmless!
i am torn between a smoking related illness and obesity. both smoking and eating can be done every day to excess without it seeming harmful, and before you know it you turn around to find that you've been fat and sick for years. both habits leave a wide range of possible ailments, none of them any fun. i am vegan and have significantly cut down on my smoking, but i still worry about it.
Stroke and high blood pressure.
Cancer...a lot of different ones run in my family. Any of my organs failing...my mom had her gall bladder removed and what she had is hereditary. I have a fear about major surgery.
