Jealousy -- especially if they are the type that can eat monster-loads and still stay skinny!

  • MangoWOW@xanga

Haha I think they're so cute! I wish I could have someone pick me up just as easily!
I hope other commenters remember there is a difference between thin and skinny! Thin isn't necessarily bad.

Envy.... jealousy.... hatred... usually in that order.

  • loserrxfacex3@xanga

I wish people didn't have to think they had to be so thin simply because that's what the media portrays that's how we all should look. When it's too thin, I find it to be sad and it just looks wrong. There is a healthy looking thin, and there's just a sickly looking thin. It's that kind that I feel sorry for.

    My honest opinion?

    They're people.

Just like fat people or mediocre people.

    Jesus.

  • UnVolume@xanga

    Depends. Naturally thin: envy
    worked-hard-for-it thin: admiration/respect
unnatural/starved thin: hope they see a professional and can get through it.

How did the notebook get to school ? How did the spool of thread get to home econmoic's ?

  • tonedndfit@xanga

@UnVolume@xanga - agreeed, however i still will get envious of those who have worked for it, because they have the willpower to do it and i dont!

  • KasumiCelesta@xanga

I don't envy the thin people that have no boobs/butt, because I myself am a B-cup and have 36" hips with a 24" waist. If the girl is TOO thin, it makes me a bit uncomfortable...I feel like if they trip or something while walking in high heels, their bodies would just snap :/

  • xje_veux_etre_joliex@xanga

I have a really warped view of 'thin.' For example, no matter how painfully skinny my friends think a girl is, I usually don't think she looks unhealthy unless she's pale, greasy-haired, etc etc (basically if she's well groomed...)
I am really jealous of thin people, naturally so or who worked for it. I did, however, inherit extreme obesity, diabetes, and other weight-related issues on the maternal side of my family, so I feel a different admiration for people with a familial history of obesity who manage to stay thin.

  • Passionflwr86@xanga

Thin, or anorexic? Thin... fine. Anorexic ... "you're beautiful but you don't understand that yet." So much more I can say but that's it in a nutshell... make a differentiation between someone who's thin and someone with an ED, though... it's so important.

  • d0llh0use@xanga

who cares.  i dont even care about chubby people much less skinny people.  what right do i have.

  • pillowpixies@xanga

When I see someone who's super skinny, I think "Dang, they're thin." and that's that. I have no opinion on the matter.

  • colormethespian@xanga

When I see someone who is thinner, my first, honest thought is, *new friend*, the same thought that I have for almost everyone I see - thin, thick and thenforth (I needed another "t" lol). I usually do feel a little selfconscience though, because I'm more big than I am small, but it's all good and so are they.

  • PixelDOT@xanga

Don't judge a book by its cover.

That said, I'm guilty of making judgment. If I see a trendy thin person, especially famous people, my honest first opinion is "Probably from drugs". Probably not true most of the time, and the thought doesn't linger, but you asked, and it's my honest first thought.

Genes, extremely powerful metabolism.....I rarely think eating disorder unless it's practically obvious (emaciated appearance, muscle mass loss (you can still be skinny and have meat on your bones), etc). I'm less inspired by skinny peoplt though. I just want to be tight and atheletic lol.

    So we're something exotic now?
  • mycontinuity@xanga

They gross me out. It reminds me of a period of my life when I couldn't afford to buy food and I was just skin and bones. They remind me of poverty.  (I'm talking about starvation thin, not size 2-4 thin).

  • tastytimmm@xanga

@TheScaleDiaries@xanga - I agree! Bones need muscles on them! Toned girls are so beautiful! You can tell they worked hard for it which is even more attractive.

but being skinny and boney is a turn OFF hahaha

  • Sweet_lil_Makena@xanga

Well, I'm personally very skinny - and I LOVE being this way...But it annoys me when people come up to me and ask if I'm having an eating disorder or something! In fact it is incredible annoying and upsetting that as soon as a girl is really thin people start believing that she doesn't eat! I mean, is it a bad thing if you decide to eat some fruits instead of eating tons of candy and sweets, or replacing the potatoe chips other people eat to repletion with some healthy snacks like vegetables? I tend to say no! After all, just because at least 50 to 75 % of today's society are overweight it doesn't mean that eating healthy is a bad thing...In fact I believe that being skinny is much better of your health than eating simply everything no matter how much fat and calories it has!

  • sugardaddysbaby@xanga

i sometimes think i am thin and sexy and amazing then i will see someone heeps thiner and its like damn i am a fatty lol. and then i think i wish i was thinner, then i think about that person for ages after >< wishing i was them.
