  • You Don't Really Want To Exercise But Feel Good Doing It

I woke up on Sunday after 2 hours of sleep, super tired and ready to crash again but I had to stay up and meet my friends at the gym to play some hoops. I don't really why I stayed up till 7 am staring at my computer screen but I did and I felt like shit. After a cup of coffee and a bagel I headed downtown to play ball.  I'm glad I did.

Once I warmed up, my entire body was ready to workout and I went at it full speed better than I do on days I'm motivated to go to them gym.  I ended up spending 2 hours there playing 5 on 5 pickup ball. Afterward I was refreshed and felt amazing. All the tiredness and laziness was gone.

Of course after I showered and ate, I collapsed and took a long nap. I have to say it's the best I've felt in weeks. A day I didn't want to get up to play ball, a sport I used to get at 5 am to practice for, turned into an awesome day.  Although I felt great running around, I don't think I'll be making a habit of staying up till 7 am and then playing ball.  My body will eventually catch up and I'd be screwed.

Ever workout or do some kind of physical activity that you didn't plan or want to do but ended up feeling good afterward? What's the latest you've ever stayed up till?

Oh god, working out makes me feel amazing. Especially when I think fuck this I am so not working out. Then my brother says hey lazy what happened to running or something that makes me unhappily start. Afterwards I feel great!

it happens to me almost every time im meant to go and work out- in my case, it's jogging. i jog in the evening, i ought to leave the house at 6pm, but im so reluctant to go that i push it for as long as possible, sometimes until it gets dark and i realise i cant push it any further. so i reluctantly shove myself out of the house, but after the jog i always feel amazing, and feel so glad that i went.

It happens a lot.  I'm sleepy every day, but when I get home--I always feel a bit more energized and push myself to go to the gym.  It almost always feel good afterward, unless I don't have enough strength to finish the entire workout.

Everyday I wake up and I'm like "I don't want to run" but I run 3 miles anyway because I love it and it makes me feel good.

About 7pm the following night,   we flew back over night from New York to the United Kingdom,  so we had be up since 7am on the day of the flight,  since we wanted to have breakfast, go for a work, quick walk round Times Square, bite to each for lunch before being picked up at the hotel by mini bus to take us to airport.

Latest I've stayed up til? Probably didn't sleep for about 30+ hours. I crashed at about 6 pm and don't remember when I woke up.

That's the way I usually am before I'm about to bike for 10+ miles, but while and after I do it, it's alllll worth it. Of course, I forget that feeling the next day XD I'm just too lazy.

well I already have to work out everyday, whether it be going to the gym or running outside, in order for me to feel 'right'. If I dont work out and break a sweat then I feel really gross and dont wanna go out. So that basically my motivation to work out 6/7days a week. Im a pretty vain person. But, yeah after a night of drinking and being out all night I still get my ass out of bed a little hung over and go workout. And I can some how I am able to run longer and harder then normal. Its pretty awesome...and since im out partying alot I end up doing this alot. I out my body through too much. but you're only young once right? haha

I love going to the gym or playing a sport when I feel like shit. Makes me forget I feel like shit. Gotta love them endorphins.

  • DreamWeaver09@xanga

I've been trying to walk and run every day, I do it, but I'm not really feeling energized afterwards =/ I wish I did, and I think if I keep working on it and getting better ((being able to run longer)) I'll feel better afterwards.

i've noticed lately that for all my grumbling about exercise and hating doing it i always feel better after, i have more energy but on the days i don't bother i always feel worse and end up hating that feeling more then going out and exercising. vicious cycle

Having a healthy lifestyle is one good practice every person must have.. Exercise is one of the things that a person should do. In order for you to keep track of your heart's condition, a heart rate monitor watch is a good thing to have.
