I love wine and last week I switched the kind and man I've been hitting the bathroom more than I ever have.
I don't know why but I actually like it. I've been trying to get in much better shape and if wine can take care of the fiber part of the deal, then I'm all for it.
A few of my co-workers drink it everyday and they say it's great just for normal body functions. I wasn't big on it before, I would much rather have my Sam Adams or Guiness but I can't picture not drinking wine anymore. There's too many benefits for me not to continue drinking it.
What do you eat or drink for regular bowel movement? If you had to choose, which one would prefer, wine or beer?

Since I don't drink, I would have to pick wine.
But if ever there is a need, raisons work for me. So does popcorn and so does 100% cranberry juice.
black liquorice
oh and prunes!
For some reason...that "drunk off wine" drunk...is a special kind of drunk.
no beer, they are way too gassy
dude, milk and caffeine free diet pepsi work wonders
i have bran flakes and coffee every morning and that makes for a nice bowel movement.
but now i am cutting out coffee so we'll see what happens...
wine is AMAZING
the carbonation from beer (or anything else carbonated ) upsets my stomach so i can only have 1 or two TOPS
Prunes, COFFEE, fiberone cereal, benefiber, etc
red wine is great for the body (1-2 glasses a day). unless pregnancy is involved, of course.
my favorite: at least 3 years old Cabernet Sauvignon at reasonable price (<=$15 per bottle in a grocery store), combining taste of berries, cherries, vanilla, and chocolate/coffee, aged in oak barrels. proven to satisfy the palate: Chateau St. Michelle, McManis, others. wines younger than 3 years taste too much as alcohol and fermented fruit juice.
regardless of fiber, it still has clinically proven positive effects on body functioning. why not combine both?
heard of non alcoholic stuff like food such as cereal, fruit (banana, figs), veggies or coffee? works fine, anything that i could have before evening coz i like to be light to start a day. I really didn't know beer could make u go, alcohol dehydrates ur body which doesn't help, but it also upsets ur stomach which can work but probably lose its effect on the long run.
