Aloe Vera for Dinner
Living all over the planet I certainly ate and drank my fair share of unusual things. From Cobra blood mixed with cognac to fried grasshoppers.
There are a few things however that we probably should eat or drink that are healthy and tasty that we probably have never considered. Aloe vera is a well-known plant for treating burns and insect bites. However, many of you probably do not realize that you can eat Aloe vera too. I tried it tempura style in Tokyo and loved it.
Eating Aloe vera is very healthy. The main reason for eating Aloe vera is because it will increase your resistance to disease.
The plant is full of antibiotics, which will fight off infections. Some people claim that eating Aloe vera will also prevent hair loss. Hmmm I cannot vouch for that. Aloe vera is also rumored to help reduce acne as well.Do you ever drank Aloe Vera? If not, do you know about its benefits?

Umm, you may want to rethink the picture that you used for this post. While I am personally not offended by nudity, you know that this is going to cause issues for other people.
Aloe vera sounds interesting.
@TheCheshireGrins@xanga - I admit I hadn't even glanced at the photo - but then I did a double take. I'm not "offended" by it - but I can't figure out how a naked breast in any way relates to aloe vera (unless they're using the "sex sells" adage ... or is it supposed to help libido, too?)
I used to drink this aloe vera drink my cousin sent from korea all the time. It had shreds of the plant inside of the drink. It was really good. Don't remember what it was called.
@Passionflwr86@xanga - LOL, that particular picture could be taken in all sorts of different ways. Aloe usually doesn't rush out of leaves like that...
My friend grows it & I've drank it! It's pretty good, but I wasn't aware of the health benefits. Thanks!
aloe vera juice is this SHIZZ.
yummy stuff.
Never drank it, but put it on my face all the time =)
I read somewhere that raw aloe is very....strong lactose =O
Wow, I have to try this. And yes, Aloe-vera can really help with skin burns.
I used to drink aloe vera all the time. It makes the skin absolutely glow, gives lots of energy, helps with acid reflux and ulcers and does boost the immune system.
aloe in mango slushies.... mmmmmmmmmmmmm
I've never drank it, but I can imagine that the texture would be sort of...odd.
I did watch Andrew Zimmerin drink an aloe vera drink in...Morocco, I believe. It looked like snot, but I suppose it might not taste too bad.
Tempura style aloe sounds pretty cool actually.
is that a boob?
Wow, I didn't even notice the boob until I read comments.
The aloe vera drink is very different from fresh aloe vera. Fresh aloe is sticky and it smells kind of funny. The drink is filled with sugar and I swear what they claim is "aloe" is actually little bits of grape.
i drink aloe beverages...and whats wif the NUDE pic?
ok is she applying aloe to her breasts?!
i love aloe vera and i want an aloe vera plant. aloe vera is also supposed to make you look young and have youthful skin cause its full of antioxidants.
The Asian supermarkets around here all sell this Aloe Vera drink that's pretty tasty. My mom buys it all the time, and I would drink it even if it didn't benefit me :).
Mmmmmm, I think that i will be giving my children aloe vera drinks!
i've had those aloe vera drinks. they're good
Isn't it a laxative - be sure to have a toilet near by!!!
@miss_prettyinpink@xanga - lol i didn't notice it until i read the comments either.
I'm allergice to aloe vera....It makes me bruise/bleed inside
I've never drank aloe vera, but I used to have a plant and sometimes I'd break off a piece and put some of the aloe vera on my hands to moisturize my skin.
