They say the best way to overcome
Fears, is by confronting them.
But some fears/phobias are tough to face. Yes, tough, but not impossible. The key to tackling problems:
Determination.
Some fears are irrational. These fears are also known as Phobias.
But how do you confront
Death? A loss? Truth is, they are the hardest. The toughest to let go of. But sometimes you have to remember that, death is a part of life. Life is a reward, a gift, a treasure. Appreciate it now. When death comes, as in one of your family members, remember the moments that should live on, and never die. Those, you should never let go of.
What are some of your biggest fears?

Spiders, and failure.
Hmm, well it was needles until I got my first tattoo last year
So pretty much just failing in life and disappointing my love ones.
What if you fear to confront your fears?
I have an irrational fear of touching raw meat.
Spiders and I take death just as it comes. When it's my time, then its just my time. With family and friends I just try to remember the good ole days more so than mourning the loss.
@kachino@xanga - Haha then your really screwed huh?
The concept of getting things right the first time was ingrained into me as a kid, you got in trouble if things were not done right the first time. I have a fear of doing things wrong or messing things up. I know it is stupid but I can't help it, for me, facing it means learning to accept that I am not perfect. I'm working on it. =)
I do fear death of family, after my Uncle (more like father figurea) passed I'm am so careful about letting the important people in my life know how much I love them.
Awww that spider is SOOO cute!!!
My biggest fears are:
Tornadoes
Fish
Amphibians
Farm animals (not goats though)
Maybe some kinds of reptiles.
I have more things but I can't remember them.
cuticles. totally irrational.
I'm scared of everything.
I run or avoid my fears, which are heights and sharp objects (I'm afraid of a lot of stuff, just can't remember them at the moment).
wtf!! that picture freaked me out of that tarantula!!!
it is hard to face fears. i use to fear bees a lot. now i get use to them more, because there's a lot of bees around my school campus.
at least i haven't got stung YET.
Insects... Spiders, oh by the way when I opened my email and saw that great big ugly thing rearing it head and body at me on my screen I near had a heart attack, not cool!
What else? Hmm I think I'll keep the rest to myself xD
I'm afraid of clowns. Not Coulrophobia fear but close to it. The thing is kicking a clown to death to overcome the fear isn't socially acceptable anywhere in the U.S. so I'm just staying away from the circus for now.
I'm terrified of broken glass.
I am adding huge dogs and insects to my list. Oh and clowns and mascots.
They say "exposure" is the best way to do it.Â
Time and a wandering mind cure alot of things.
I don't particually like living because I feel like everyday is just a waste, that I am not getting anywhere and I am just a dissapointment and failure, which is true to an extent. The last 10 months have been pretty much the same, but then you just have to look at the consequences of you actions and what you are going to miss out on if you don't confront yourself and your most probably regret it. So I am living because I am afraid of death too, But I know that I am going to be a better person give it a month and everything will be different.
Aw, that stuff doesn't faze me. I live on a tarantula farm protected by dogs and surrounded by snakes.
Being buried alive is a nightmare that will keep me awake for weeks. I am not sure how to confront that one without either suffocating to death or going insane...
i'm so glad there's no cockcroach. otherwise i'll freak out and no i will not confront cockcroaches! i just can't bring myself to doing it. however i'm afraid of heights and i do confront them like taking roller coaster rides (it's awesome!!!!) but i'm still scared despite confronting it haha.
vomit and failure.
