Birth Control: Does it Really Increase Your Bust Size?
I am one of those oh, so blessed girls who has been stuck in the A-cup department since the eighth grade. My mom told me in high school- "Just wait until your senior year, and you will blossom."
(Graduation passes me by)
"Just wait until college."
(I'm now headed for my junior year in college)
See where I am going with this? My friends often tell me "I wish I had small boobs- they look so much classier in low cut tops and dresses."- but I can't help but think how much more confident I would feel with larger breasts. I sometimes feel like my small breasts take a little bit away from my womanhood, if you will.
With that being said, I refuse to get implants. I prefer being all natural. And to be honest, the thought of that procedure scares me a little bit. I am curious though.- I have never been on birth control before because my friends who are on it constantly complain about the weight gain and the moodiness caused by birth control.
Is it true that birth control does, in fact, cause your bust size to increase, or does it just make you gain weight in general? If this is so, would any of you fellow A-cupped ladies be willing to take birth control for this reason, even though it may potentially effect your mood and/or weight?

I started birth control and (while I'm still an A-cup) my boobs have grown a little. I don't think it's a huge change in general, but it's still a change. Estrogen and progesterone are what make you develop, and since they're in the birth control...well, yeah. Self-explanatory. XD I'd never take birth control just to grow boobs, though.
The birth control I was on made me gain weight everywhere, including my boobs. I was already big so it make them just look saggy and nasty...so needless to say, I got off of that stuff. LOL.
I'm about to be a senior in high school (in a matter of months), and I too am an A-cup. My mom has sworn up and down that they will grow, but I don't think they will and I know exactly what you mean when you say that it sort of takes away from your womanhood. I feel the SAME way. I can't wear so many blouses and dresses because I feel incredibly insecure of my lack of bust...
So would I take birth control for that? I personally wouldn't right now, but when I'm your age, I think I probably will.
If you're really insecure about it, then maybe you can ask your doctor about it or something.

19yrs old and have been on birth control since i was 15 still no boobs and i weigh 120
i wish i had an increase in my boobss too =(
i've tooken bc and it didn't cause weight gain and if my boobs grew it wasn't a drastic change. i've actually lost weight while on birth control
so i believe that bc causing weight gain is false.
anyway small natural breasts are beautiful!
but if you need it then talk to a doctor..or maybe try to gain weight?
I haven't noticed any correlation, really. Some of my friends have, though. I was a B, then I gained weight and now I'm a D. It's not enjoyable at all, lol.
I'm pretty sure they just make you gain in general.
Personally I have not experienced weight gain or my boobs growing as a result of being on birth control. I gained weight cause I got lazy
Gaining weight can make your boobs grow, I went from a C to a D. Also pregnancy can make your boobs grow larger.
My boobs stayed the same size, but I know that I had a lot of friends whose cup sizes went up. Then again, I also lost weight when I started it. Everyone's body is different. Buuuut, my mother was an A cup and after she had me, she stayed a full B, so if you're still iffy about the pill, just wait until pregnancy. (Supposed to make you laugh)
hmm.. i have been on birth control since i was 18... i do not have major moodiness but i notice i am more girly with feelings now but nothing major, my mom says it better than how i use to be. (acted like a dude) im in the a-cup club with you.. i've notice with this new birth control im using (started couple months) i do feel like my boobs have grown a little.. i use to be really flat. mosquito bites more like it lol.. but i was on yasmin at first and i have to say i did not gain weight if any thing i lost maybe 10 pounds. it could be because of my body who knows.. but if i eat alot i gain weight if i dont i lose weight just normal... but to answer your question yes i do feel boobs have grown a bit and the benifits of birth control are great. i use to have my period for over a week.. now only 3 days with NO CRAMPS.. and they work as good acne treatment. my skin is clear thanks to the birth control =)
another thing i notice about birth control.. totally off toopic but it lowers sex drive!
ugh i hate when people make these assumptions that everyone's body is the same when it's not. i lost weight on birth control + my bust stayed the same. yeah sure some girls gain weight but some lose weight.
if you gain weight on them then it's your own fault. you can't blame a drug for that. the only thing it might do is increase your appetite, so account for that and just don't eat any more than usual.
and trust me, it doesn't make your bust bigger.
It hasn't made mine any bigger. :( I feel you on the a-cup thing. I was actually close to a D cup and I shrunk to an A cup once I stopped eating meat. So maybe eat more meat? Haha
It took me from an A to a B! They're still quite small on my 5'11" frame, but I totally love them now. Still not big enough to sag, but I get a little hint of cleavage every now and again that I totally appreciate.
And going off the pill for a while didn't make 'em shrink, either! I didn't gain weight really, just filled out my boobs, and frankly I started taking the pill for pregnancy prevention, but I would've definitely taken them simply for that fact. I was only mildly insecure about my boobs previously, and I LOVE them now, and coming from someone with serious emotional problems and body security issues, it was totally worth it if only for that (because apparently birth control isn't as effective on me as it is on anyone else, go figure)
It usually just depends on the person.
After years of my mom trying to coerce me into wearing B bras, I've come to the conclusion that I'm only a B during my period.
The rest of the time I'm an A (or like... an A 1/2) ... and I'm proud of it.
It DOES look less slutty when I wear lower cut shirts... so there!
i started taking the pill because i don't want a kid but...
i'm a healthy 17 year old, i started taking the pill (yaz) when i was 16. i was a 32A when i was in 8th grade, i'm a 32A now. i'll be a 32A forever. i'm not flat-chested, because i'm a small person. my flat tummy makes my boobs look normally-sized.
i didn't gain any weight (i actually lost it, but that's because i started to work out more/cut out processed foods).
i don't get cramps ever.
the pill is amazing, get on it. dudes, give it a try (just kidding, of course).
I've been on birth control since I was 17, im 18 now.
I noticed an pretty good increase..i was a C cup..now I kinda am in the B range. But I think its because the side effects go away after a couple months of using it. And I've lost weight...
I miss my old boobs tho..=\
Ive thought about surgery just to make myself feel more confident. but idk if I would ever get the fundage to pay for it. =p
i want surgery to take away my boobs. I have been a d-cup since the eigth grade. i weigh like 125 and have a tiny waist so it just makes me look top heavy...but ive been on birth control since i was 16 and have gone up to a DD since. My Weight also seems to go up and down alot while on the pill but my large breasts remain...
I honestly think it depends on the birth control. I take Yaz. And I haven't gained a pound from it. It also did make my boobs grow because now I definetly fill out my bras better. lol.

all hope may not be lost... i was a 32A for pretty much my entire life but for some reason a few months after i graduated college (and i graduated college a year later then most cause i took time out for a deployment) my boobs decided to grow to a 34B.
I'm on birth control, have been for almost 2 years now.
I've gained some weight overall but not too much, and I'm still at a low weight for my height. My boobs have grown a little and I've gone from 32A to 32B, but it's not that big of a difference.I love the birth control though because now I only get my period once/10 weeks and I don't cramp as much.
I looked up some researches before. The result of increasing boob size isn't proven but many women have claimed that they experience fuller cup (or maybe they just gain weight :P ).
every type of birth control can vary in what types of hormones are released in your body. it also varies in every type of body as well. Some can release enough estrogen in a woman's body to the point where her bust size will increase a cup, and another woman might not.
same concept goes for weight gain.
