Birth Control: Does it Really Increase Your Bust Size?
I am one of those oh, so blessed girls who has been stuck in the A-cup department since the eighth grade. My mom told me in high school- "Just wait until your senior year, and you will blossom."
(Graduation passes me by)
"Just wait until college."
(I'm now headed for my junior year in college)
See where I am going with this? My friends often tell me "I wish I had small boobs- they look so much classier in low cut tops and dresses."- but I can't help but think how much more confident I would feel with larger breasts. I sometimes feel like my small breasts take a little bit away from my womanhood, if you will.
With that being said, I refuse to get implants. I prefer being all natural. And to be honest, the thought of that procedure scares me a little bit. I am curious though.- I have never been on birth control before because my friends who are on it constantly complain about the weight gain and the moodiness caused by birth control.
Is it true that birth control does, in fact, cause your bust size to increase, or does it just make you gain weight in general? If this is so, would any of you fellow A-cupped ladies be willing to take birth control for this reason, even though it may potentially effect your mood and/or weight?

my boobs have been the same. ivebeen on two different kinds of birthcontrol. it makes you keep water weight though so i mean.. i guess it could happen? lol i dunno.
i've been an A-cup all my life, on the pill and off it. when i was on the pill, i put on about 15lbs and my boobs filled the cup. now that i'm off of it, there's a gap in my cup... i also put extra effort to lose what i gained while on the pill. when my mom was on the pill, she lost weight. needless to say, everyone's body is different. i wouldn't go on the pill just to increase my breast size. there is a sense of being deprieved of your womanhood without a full rack; i've been debating to get breast implants to look proportionate or laser eye surgery.
Emily, yes. But don't take Birth Control to do it. Be satisfied with the perkiness that comes naturally to smaller bust size.
I had been on birth control since I was 16-- the pills. When I was 18, I started the birth control patch-- Ortho Evra and I'm assuming it had something to do with the amount of estrogen but oh my goodness everyone was like, "Oh, hey, your boobs, they grew." They went from B's to C's.
Unfortunately in May, I had to switch again (lots of problems-- I'm not actually on birth control to control any births) and they shrunk.
So, what I'm trying to say, is that yeah, a birth control can make them pop, but it really depends on the person and the type of BC. Plus, it's not like you can stay on BC forever, so they won't stay larger forever, either.
I started on birth control my freshman year for the other reason people take it, if you catch my drift. Within a few months i went from a nearly A to a decent B, and when i switched brands, it took me to a C.
The pill gives your body hormones that cause it to think it is pregnant. Therefore a bust can grow on birth control because 1) pregnancy makes you gain weight because your body is trying to cushion and support a growing human and 2) pregnancy hormones influence your chest and other things. It would not be wise to use birth control for this purpose. Birth control though widely used is actually full of dangerous side effects and an unnatural trick on the body. You will have better health if you can stay away from it altogether.
omg we r lke the same! ive been an A forever i hate it. i took birth control hoping it would make the boobies bigger lol, wihch it did, but it makes you bigger in other areas as well not just the boobs. i got off birth control about 3 months ago now and im back to my normal weight. i took Desogen do not take that no matter wat! i hate it..it made me so nauseous the whole time too it sux.
lemme tell you something, it totally varies. it could be totally hit or miss.
the last time i started birth control again, i gained a whole cup size in a month! and yes, i'm one of those girls that wishes i had smaller boobs.
It will not necessarily increase your breast size, no.
It does for some people, but for others it makes them gain weight all around, and for others (like me) it does absolutely nothing in that department for.
It can be worth a try, though!
im not so sure if birth control causes your boobs to get bigger, but my friend's boobs did get bigger when she started taking it.
My daughter is a beautiful 28 yr old woman with barely A cup breasts, And she like you doesn't feel like a woman. She wants to increase her bust size, not for anyone else, but as she says, just so she can see herself in the mirror and feel attractive. She too, wishes to doit naturally if possible, but birth control for her hasn't worked, she is going to try another natural approach which is some kind of pills and cream that costs about $300.00, and if that fails she will consider implants, she is that unhappy. So, If anyone out there knows a better way, please let me know. Self esteem is important to all of us.
before bc, I was a 34B. After the first round of bc I went to a 34C (this was 2000/2001). Went off and went back on in 2003 and gained another cup size (34D). I've since lost weight but not in my bust (am now a 32DD). I'm probably an anomaly, but I also had some horrible emotional side effects being on bc. There's also no guarantee your bust size is going to increase so honestly, if that's the only reason you're thinking of taking it, don't bother.
I should add that I'm one of those that hates my bust size. Aside from it being uber hard to find proper fitting bras that also look good, I have to keep up with a backstrengthening routine in order to keep back problems at bay. I would kill to be a B again
Birth control affects everyone differently, so there is no sure answer but to try it yourself. That being said, it's not healthy to take birth control for anything but regulating your period if it's irregular, if you have a hormone imbalance and well birth control lol.
But I suffer from the A cup sindrome to and would never get implants but I would like a little more. I'd be happy as a clam with just a B cup, fill some shirts out better and look more like a girl!
i found out that one of my bf's friend's GF went on BC.... and after a whole month or two of not seeing her, whoaaaaaa she looks busty! she's one the girl who always wear super short shirt and i didn't see any belly rolls, so she gained weight up there ;p
(why am i staring at a girls boobs?)
also, my younger sister secretly went on BC (just found out last year) since she was 15? and she has the biggest boobs in the family LOL i'm 34B and she's 36B. i was prescribed yaz for cure my mild acne but i'm too sissy to take it.... also, another reason i was put on it because i get really irregular cycle, like i get it twice or year. and i'm not super skinny. I'm 5'3" and 115 lbs. well, it's all because of grave's disease... overactive tyrold but my specialist said i could go on BC....
From my exprience i went from a 128 to 134 (size 3-5 in jeans to a 7) in the first 2-3 months on kariva birth control. which im glad it happend because im tall and lanky =). And my breast cup went from a 34B to 34C , which i was also happy about. but my reason for the pill was extreme mood swing and extremely extremely bad cramps. Each persons different though i just wish i knew this sooner.
