    The Better Sex Diet

There are surprising foods that can help your sex drive and libido. Thanks to Online Dater, we're able to bring to you a list of top foods that can help you boost your sexual health!

    1. Watermelon: This juicy fruit is full of citrulline which is an amino acid that helps with blood flow, that can increase blood to both the heart and the genitalia. It also helps relax blood vessels, which can have similar effects to Viagra.
    2. Dark chocolate: A 2006 study in Journal of Sexual Medicine reported that women who ate dark chocolate regularly were more likely to have a higher sexual function. This is because dark chocolate contains serotonin and phenylethylamine, which helps boost your mood and mimics the feelings of love (respectively).
    3. Asparagus: Although many people believe this vegetable to make your urine smell different, this green twiggy veggie also comes rich in folate, which helps increase your levels of histamine - which plays an essential role in both male and female sex drive.
    4. Pumpkin seeds: Perfect for the fall, this squash seed is rich in zinc and omega 3 fatty acids. These two chemicals not only help keep a woman's sex drive in full gear, but omega 3 fatty acids is a great contributor to a good sexual health.
    5. Sauerkraut: In a 2002 study published in Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 90% of men felt a significant boost in their libido after eating this fermented cabbage.
    6. Avocados: This smooth food is not only great for guacamole, but it's also chock full of vitamin B6 (which helps with male hormone production), but it's also full of potassium, which helps regulate women's thyroids. Also, avocados help boost libidos in both genders!
    7. Eggs: Even though many people try to avoid cholesterol, cholesterol is a great pre-cursor to testosterone AND estrogen!
    8. Nutmeg: More than one study has shown that the extracts in nutmeg can have the same effect on the libido as Viagra. Pair nutmeg with watermelon (even though it may taste gross) and you will be ready to go!
    9. Soy: A good dose of soy for women will help run up her sexual drive and boost arousal, all thanks to the phytoestrogen in soy products. (As a side note, women who have a history of breast cancer should not eat large amounts of soy because estogen receptors can increase reoccurences of cancer.)
    10. Steak: It's no wonder that men love steak so much. This red meat is one of the top testosterone boosters, and it doesn't hurt that it's packed with protein, iron and zinc, too.

Do you eat any of these foods already in hopes to boost your libido? Would you incorporate these foods into your pre-sex dinner date?
