Healthy Tip Of The Day!
Feeling blue? Here’s what you can do to elevate your mood!
Just sniff a lemon! New research has concluded that citrusy smells may help improve your mood, particularly the scent of a lemon. The study revealed that a lemon fragrance can “help boost serotonin, a feel-good hormone, and reduce levels of norepinephrine, a stress hormone.” (Natural Health magazine)
What other smells help elevate your mood? What are some other things that improve your mood?

interesting. this must have been why I was attracted to citrusy perfumes when I was clincally depressed.
This is interesting if it's true. I should test this.
IMO, if you're asking me what smells elevate my mood, I'd say food in general, haha. Freshly baked bread does it, for sure.
As for what elevates my mood, it's working out. It's why I need to start the day this way. Otherwise I'm unmotivated and depressed.
I heard that wearing the scent of grapefruit (and only grapefruit) made people think you are younger.
