Healthy Tip Of The Day!
“Stop talking and start texting!”
Talking too much on the phone may cause hearing loss. According to a study, “people who chatted on their cell for over an hour daily had more hearing damage than less loquacious types.” So in the future, you might want to try texting more and talking less on your cell (source from Prevention Magazine).
Are you more of the “texting” or “chatting” type? If you’re more of the latter, how much time do you usually spend talking on the phone on a daily basis?

I'm neither type. I despise phones and use them only when necessary.
I don't have a cell phone. I don't listen to much music either; I'm sure that has an even greater effect on hearing loss.
I rarely use my phone for talking. I have so many rollover minutes it's ridiculous. On the other hand, if I didn't have unlimited texts my phone bill would be insanely expensive. Whoever invented the keypad the slides out of the phone is my savior, it makes texting so much easier.
I'm doomed, I talk on the phone way too much. My family lives in Arizona and Cali, and my friend all live in either Tulsa (2hrs away) or in Arkansas (but 90 mins away from me).
texting for sure
I rather talk on the phone..I like hearing someone's voice instead of typing everything out to them. Plus, what a lot of people say in a text can be said a thousand times quicker dialing their number and talking to them about whatever it is.
I don't text, and I talk on the phone like, for one hour a week? I think I'm fine. :3
But then again, texting can lead to trigger finger can't it? Repetitive motion.
I don't do either, but my iPod use alone is going to be the end of me hearing wise. I need to work on that. (._. )
i'm a textaholic.. thank God i have an unlimited txt plan cause you'll never see me without my blackberry.
Is that right?
