I bought a bag of candy last night and ate like half of it. I was going to just get a bag of M&M's until I realized for the first time in my life that one bag is almost 300 calories. So I said fuck it and bought a huge bag of assorted mini candies and went to town. It was excellent.

(but seriously I'm pretty sure I'll just splurge for a Venti Starbucks Mocha.)

My sister went to a party and came back with a lot of sweets, so I sat down with her and we ate our way through the bag...I had plenty of chocolate (which I haven't tasted in such a long time!), jelly gummies, tiny boxed pastries. I would normally never eat so much, and to be honest I have never been partial to sweets anyway, but I figured that Halloween lasts only one night and we should use the holidays to indulge in what is usually unacceptable consumption!
