Healthy Tip Of The Day!
Avoid this section of the plane to get rid of your airsickness!
Avoid the rear and sit as close to the wing as you can. According to retired United Airlines pilot Meryl Getline, an airplane is like a see-saw; “the farther from the center you are, the more up-and-down movement you experience, since the tail of the plane tends to be longer than the front, which is the bumpiest of all.” (Source from Prevention Magazine).

it's a good thing i don't get airsickness, then. :] i'll be sure to sit in the back to leave the middle seats open.
Yup, this is definitely true. Most stable seat in the plane is center seat between the wings. This is because this is the point where both pitch and yaw move around.
The back of the plane, like mentioned here, not only is roughest (furthest from axis), but it's also very noisy, due to the way sound travels and because of the aerodynamic forces. It's also where you're most likely to die in a crash landing, as pilots will put the tail section down first (just a bit) to cushion the impact and increase the survivability of the rest of the plane.
how is this a heathly tip?
im sorry but I don't find many of these "healthy tips" actually regard health.
either that or it's a well known fact
OH MY GOD! I'VE BEEN TERRIFIED OF FLYING ALL MY LIFE AND THIS MAKES IT ALL THAT MUCH WORSE! THANKS A LOT! BUT I'LL NEVER SET IN THE BACK AGAIN IF I HAVE TO FLY!
Chuck Norris doesn't get air sickness, air sickness gets Chuck Norris.
I always do that anyway!
I only ever flew in a small, 4 person plane (Piper Cherokee; my uncle's a pilot), but I was fine.
I rarely get nauseous; I can ride roller coasters all day. But if I ever start getting nauseous and need to go on a commercial flight, I'll keep this in mind.
well this sucks. i always go for the back of the plane.
i was watching sweeney todd one time and there was some massive turbulence. for those who don't know, sweeney todd involves a LOT (though clearly too fake to be real) blood. nearly chucked everything up.
ooo good one! i used to get airsickness WAY bad when i was little...i've thrown up on the plane a few times >.< but now that i'm older, i don't get it at all, BUT driving on winding roads and boats are still a problem for me...it sucks. still gotta take dramamine.
