Healthy Tip Of The Day!
Feeling stressed and need to relax?
Take a coffee or a tea break NOT alone, but WITH others—either your friends, family, or coworkers (I know, why bother if you want to feel RELAXED?). Wait until you hear this. According to a study, “getting a caffeine fix in a group lowered stress levels. But sipping coffee alone left people feeling MORE stressed.” Who would’ve known?
Do you prefer to drink coffee or tea alone or with others? Do you think a group-coffee-break helps reduce your stress?

Alone, that way I can think about what I need to do and find a way to do it. But I can see where this could help someone.
Well, I don't like coffee or tea (well, not warm tea anyway) and I don't really see the need to get together with friends to drink iced tea.
I like to sit down with a cup of hot tea and a good friend whenever I can. The combination is an instant stress reduction.
It's because when you're talking with others, you're probably laughing and enjoying their company, taking to focus off yourself. Sitting there by yourself thinking "gotta relax, gotta relax" will not help you relax. Most people can't make a conscious effort to relax, they just more tense thinking about it- snowball effect.
That, and humans are social creatures.
I like group coffee breaks, you can sit, chat, laugh, enjoy yourself for five minutes. Plus the people I work with are all hilarious and we get along great so we always have fun chatting every spare second we get because we can forget about how slow or busy we are, and we can vent about some of the idiots who come in.
doing it atm with my SO in the library...does that count? we're not interacting but im not alonee....:)
or maybe its being with people that makes you less stressed! DUH!
groups reduce stress because you can chat with them i guess. which is fun and not stressful.
I like tea. :) Tea breaks with friends is awesome.. or just going to a local coffee shop and talking to a friend about stress related issues is always good, kind of like therapy. hah

I like to get a coffee and walk for around an hour or so. Totally de-stressing! lol
