Are You A Workoutaholic?
I remember reading somewhere in a magazine that 48 percent of women tend to sacrifice exercise when they are either sleep deprived or pressed for time. I know it’s better to get more sleep than to drag yourself to the gym while you’re still not fully awake because lack of sleep can trigger your appetite and often make you reach out for “unhealthy foods.” However, unless you are just SO busy that you can’t even afford to take a short lunch break, I still think it’s vital to squeeze in at least 20 minutes of exercise per day.
Do you (both men and women) tend to skip your workout if you are in one of these situations mentioned above, or do you make an effort to exercise every single day regardless of lack of sleep and/or time?

I don't go to the gym every day, but I do usually do some sort of exercise every day. Sometimes it's just a walk to the mailbox (which is pretty far), but I've been trying to go on a hike or do the stationary bike when I don't go to the gym or have something else going on.
I used to be a workoutaholic, then I quit going because I kept getting blisters. I need new running shoes & don't have the money, so I haven't been to the gym in like 2 wks.
We have a weight machine and such in our basement, so I keep telling myself I'll just workout here instead of go to the gym for 'nothing' since I can't run. That hasn't happened yet. =/
But in my previous routine, I tend to neglect my workout most when I'm tired. I've never really skipped out just because im too busy, it's the fact that I'm too tired and want to sleep, lol. And I use my school's gym, which is 35 minutes away. So I'm not going to come home, nap, drive back to school, then come back home.
I am a gymoholic. I am there everyday for about 40-70 minutes....
I feel odd if I dont do my daily workout
I am addicted to exercising and I feel awfully guilty if I haven't done it at least once a day. Usually, if I don't exercise, I reach for unhealthy foods.
I do a specific weights routine everyday and usually run 5.2-5.6 miles three or more times a week.
I wouldn't call myself a workoutaholic, I'm pretty sure I'm quite healthy in my lifestyle choice. :)
I used to be a workoutaholic - I went through a period where I wasn't in school - I dropped out of law school and while I was applying to another program I had all this down time so I increased my work hours - I worked (and still do) at the student rec center as a fitness instructor, so I would teach like, 10 classes a week, and do my own workouts on top of that if I felt I didn't get a good workout in class b/c the clients were at a lower level of fitness...it was craaazy. 2-3 hours of working out almost every day and I had a hard time letting myself take days off. I've since cut down now that I'm a full time student. I'm OK with taking time off from working out if I have too much academic work to do. Hell, I barely go to the rec anymore except to teach 2x a week, I work out at home almost every day though, or go cycling to get some fresh air.
guilty, but only during the time i have off.
I go to the gym 3x a week and LOVE it. It's just like this energizing madness :)
