This is Too Much! - The Swine Flu Invades a Church
Do you think this is a bit extreme? Have people gone swine flu-crazy?

you know regular flu kills more than swine flu o_O
don't go to church, it's easy.
Whatever makes these people feel more comfortable I guess. Although H1N1 isn't much of a threat....

Its still holy water, right? I don't think this new addition to churches is a bad thing. Maybe it is getting a little swine flu scare crazy, but I don't see anything wrong with installing something like this. And it probably wasn't a decision made lightly or on the spur of the moment, so it probably doesn't interfere or infringe upon the true practice. After all, its still holy water and its still being used for what it is supposed to be used for. Just because this is a new and different way of getting the holy water onto your hand/fingers doesn't make it over the top or bad. It might be nice in the long run for something like this, even if it weren't for the swine flu scare.
Sometimes technology and people's fears of certain things can run amok, but that doesn't mean all technology (even when implemented in churches like this) is bad. Its really just different, and I doubt that its going to harm anything or the experience, or infringe or interfere with the way people worship and the effectiveness of said worship.
In my school, there are at least 2 hand sanitizer dispensers on every floor of the building. There's at least one next to every elevator. 2 in the cafeteria. It's ridiculous, which has made everyone in the school freak out more about the swine flu.
