Hey NY/NJ: Have You Been to the "Energy Kitchen"?
Found in Hoboken, NJ, the Energy Kitchen believes that "eating healthy should be a piece of cake...ok we take that back. what we meant to say is eating healthy should be easy, and taste great too."
Their website goes on to explain that they only offer items that have fewer than 500 calories. (Of course, how you mix and match your foods is up to you.) The site also explains that nothing there is EVER fried, and you'll only find foods that have been baked, grilled or steamed.
With a motto like "not all calories are created equal," I have to know if anyone's tried this place!
They have menu items like a bison burger, chicken salad or veggie chili wrap for lunch.. and for breakfast they offer items like oatmeal, the "energy breakfast sandwich" and turkey egg wrap. Not only do these menu options sound awesome, but knowing that they're less than 500 calories per item is absolutely AMAZING.
New York/New Jersey Healthkickers:
Have you ever visited The Energy Kitchen? Would you like to go to a place that offers items with a calorie restraint like this?

I pass this place nearly every day, but I've never actually been there.
I love Energy Kitchen, I usually order from the Tudor City location. I like that I can create my own salad for a decent price.
ooh this place sounds yummy!
I'll be looking it up! Hoboken is right by me, I'm so excited to try it!
weird, I live in Hoboken but never attempted to go there, since I like healthy foods...
