I know what people say about coffee. "It has caffeine!" "It makes you jittery!" "You become addicted." Well fine, but I did some research and I found that there are actually some health benefits to drinking a fine cup of java. So get your coffee beans ready to start roasting because here are a couple of health benefits to drinking coffee.1. It's good for the ol' noggin! Studies have shown that drinking coffee helps people to do well on cognitive tests such as IQ tests and ability tests. So drink up before you have an important test.
2. It does wonders for your memory! Coffee is said to help prevent Alzheimer's Disease, in fact, it has been said that people who drink two cups of coffee per day are less likely to develop Alzheimer's than a person who does not.
3. It protects against diabetes! In a study done by Harvard, 1-3 cups of coffee per day helps to protect against diabetes.
4. It protects against Parkinson's disease! In another study done by Harvard, drinking coffee daily is supposed to reduce your chance of getting Parkinson's by a whopping 80%.
5. It helps you lose weight! Coffee increases your energy and metabolism, making it easier to lose weight.
