People rejoice! Chocolate can actually help your exercise routine and give you the energy you need!
Many of us go to the gym in order to work off the chocolate we eat all week, but this article in the Daily News reports otherwise.Scientists fed a group of mice a twice daily dose of purified form of cacao. According to researches at UC, San Diego the mice who ate the chocolate supplement outperformed the ones who had not. The chemical in the chocolate increased the physiological response in the mice leg muscles.
Before you run for that chocolate bar, scientists advise only a bite or two of dark chocolate will do the job before a workout.
