Quote of the Day ...from B.A. Rihanna!
Fellow Healthkickers!
Do you love Rihanna as much as I do? What do you think about this quote from the celebrity bad@$$?
"You shouldn't be pressured into trying to be thin by the fashion industry, because they only want models that are like human mannequins... But you have to remember that it's not practical or possible for an everyday woman to look like that. Being size zero is a career in itself so we shouldn't try and be like them. It's not realistic and it's not healthy."
- Rihanna to the Daily Mail
Do you think people should strive to be more than a size zero? Share your thoughts on her quote in the comment section below! And don't forget - check out the photo gallery to see Rihanna's smoking bod!

What is this girl's BMI? Not for that question to seem judgemental or anything; I'm trying to get out of eating-disordered behavior and accept myself at a BMI of 19 (when I'd rather it be 16),, so I have a hangup on appearance and BMI's and stuff...but Rihanna looks amazing! =P
@apples2apples - don't judge on BMI, mine is like 22 or something and I weigh 102 pounds, which makes no sense to me haha.
No??? What? Why would anyone strive to be more than a size 0?
OK. Seriously, of course people should want to be more than just thin. People should be more concerned with developing as a person than what they look like as a person. I think Rhianna was saying that people shouldn't make being thin the center or focus of their existence which is good advice.
People should be more concerned with being a professional dancer, a doctor, a librarian, a teacher, whatever they have the passion for -- if you do what you love, why should it matter if you're not a size 0?!
I think, like other commenters said, this post missed the point a bit. She's not saying that people should strive to be bigger than a size 0, she's saying that we shouldn't waste all our time and energy on worrying what our weight is when other stuff means so much more. it's not that there's anything wrong with size 0, it's that there's something wrong with every woman wanting to be size 0, when it's only realistic for a select few
more evidence that rihanna is wonderful.
@jenessa1889@xanga - yeah, that's exactly what i got out of it too.
@ChelseaSmilesMore@xanga - To weigh 102 pounds and have a BMI of 22 you would have to be only four and a half feet tall. I think you're calculating somethign wrong.
Definitely NOT, being more than a size 0 is ridiculous! that's like a walking skeleton & definitely isn't attractive or healthy..im so w/ RiRi on this one.
