  • Get Spicy with Your Sweetie!

Valentine's Day has come and gone, but that doesn't mean you can't continue to spicy with your sweetie. Skip the bondage and candle wax, you freaks. Instead, check out these healthy food'ums that are both delicious AND guaranteed to bring the heatin the sheets.

    • Breath mints: Breath mints not only provide fresh breath, but they also can be really sexy. Pop a mint before you jump into bed, and then lick your partner's neck and chest, following the lick with a soft blow of your breath. The mint will provide a cooling effect and will totally turn your partner on. (And duh! Breath mints are really low-calorie and many of them are sugar-free.)
    • Popsicles: Even though Valentine's Day comes with notoriously cold weather, popsicles can be really hot in the bedroom. Cold, phallic and sweet, popsicles can be rubbed on each other's bodies or can just be used as to tease your man (or woman!) with. Many popsicles also contain real fruit, so you'll be getting some of your fruit and veggie servings in bed!
    • Fruit: Any kind of juicy, succulent fruit will do. Most people will head towards the typical fruits, like strawberries or grapes. Instead, pick up a really juicy fruit, like a watermelon slice or peach, and bring it to bed. To spice up the sex, squeeze the fruit on each other and lick the juice off. You can even bring an orange to bed and peel it with each other and feed the slices to each other... HOT HOT HOT.
    • Honey: Try squeezing this sweet treat into your lover's mouth for a quick sugar high. While honey does usually bring along a good dose of sugar, it's unprocessed, all-natural sugar -- which is far better than any kind of processed nonsense you may find in whipped cream or other syrups. If you want to get a little sticky, try squeezing small drops of honey onto your lover and remove it by sucking the honey off; try sensual areas like the neck, nipple or inner thigh to get them super aroused.

Do you bring food into the bedroom? What's your go-to bedroom snack? Will you try any of these out for Valentine's Day?

    • About Me: While I tried to stay in college for as long as I possibly could, I picked up a Psychology minor, forcing myself to learn a little about mental health. What I didn't know was how closely linked mental and physical health, are to each other. Now that I've graduated, I've enjoyed writing about all different aspects of health for Healthkicker. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that there's no way to live healthy unless you're happy, too. I'm hoping to be able to give as much insight as I can, while picking up a few tips from everyone along the way!
If there was one drink I could not live with, it'd be WATER. While I do thrive off of energy drinks, I drink about 15 glasses of water a day. As far as my favorite foods go, I'll eat anything with cheese, chicken, and asparagus. Also, ANY kind of fruit!
