2% milk is great (unless you have dairy issues of course. Here's what I would also add:
-Dont torture yourself. You have better results when you treat yourself once or twice a week than cutting out junk completely. Because then you binge & you gain weight faster or get sick.
-Cut out soda. When I stopped drinking soda everyday & switched with water or no sugar added juice, that was an easy 7-10 pounds.I still drink it but only a few times a month.
-Try to find exercise that doesnt seem like a chore. I use water jugs at home & I love zumba, cardioke, aerobics, ballroom dancing. Regular exercise bores me to tears & makes me less likely to do it.
-Look for food that's colorful. For some reason (I cant remember at the moment) bright colors make you want to eat it more because it's attracting. So like mixed veggies are great.
-Oven baked foods mimic the taste & feel of fried foods without the bad oils.
This post reads weird. Like it was written in another language first maybe.
the 6th tip i can never do. when i get hungry, i have to eat...like NOW, or else i get a headache that lasts all day. which makes me a real bitch to be with when i've missed a meal. LOL.
Although some of these ideas are considered controversial, I am glad to see the importance of breakfast mentioned. Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day and it can really set the tone for the meals and snacks that follow. By choosing fiber-rich, nutritiously dense foods, you can really set a healthy mindset for the rest of the day. -Kati Mora, MS, RD, Kellogg's FiberPlus® Wellness Advocate
My response to this was way too long to leave as a comment, so i posted it on my blog.

popcorn good, corn bad?
@LadyGwenivere@xanga - Your response is invalid because people that aren't friends with you can't see it.
@TiPrometto@xanga - its not "invalid" thank you. but i did adjust the settings.
@LadyGwenivere@xanga - Invalid meaning faulty. So yeah, kinda was.
Some of these tips are definitely borderline too much... 15,16,18, 20, 21.... I don't think you should cut out any foods unless your body can't digest them. otherwise eat in moderation, because let's be honest, if you like cake... you're going to eat it at some point. :P Also, some diets aren't meant to have any snacking at all! I don't snack, picked that up in France. And what's up with the fiber one? Take fiber foods before eating? How about what you eat just automatically has fiber? :P
@TiPrometto@xanga - the link may have been invalid (which i fixed) but my response was not. thanks again
#5 is kind of a pro-ana tip. That's not good. -_-

Advice FAIL. Way to go Healthkicker for posting this during NEDAwareness week.
@Ms_Lola_Mae@xanga - the majority of these tips are ana tips. The best thing to do is just, eat by your blood type. For some reason it works.
Way to go HEALTHkicker! I saw all of these on ProAna sites before I started recovery...
and your timing was perfect btw... =/
Most of them seem like good tips, nice! :)
@EvynB@xanga - Oh my, I just read a book called "Eat right for your type" where it explains the diet you have to follow by your blood type, very interesting!
