• Forever 21's Health Incentive

  

  As a college student, I spend most of my time studying for classes, meeting deadlines, and preparing for exams while managing my personal life. But any college student can tell you, it's difficult to tackle their educational life with their personal and home life. One is always more than the other. Or perhaps some students can find the balance however to say the least. I tend to weight more of my time in studying than for other priorities in my life.

  And this applies to my personal health.

  In high-school and earlier in my college career, I had time to incorporate health in my schedule such as yoga and working our routinely. But now, as a senior I have lesser time to spare for myself so after my midterms are over, I try to treat myself.

  One of the ways I treat myself is through shopping. Yes, we have heard that shopping is therapeutic. I need to reassure myself that I am beautiful as fashion and beauty are one of the ways that make me feel good and confident about myself. Recently, after finishing two weeks of studying and exhausted from the countless information jammed in my brain, I decided to go shopping-shop online that is. Online shopping is convenient when one's time is limited, and it removes the trouble of commuting while also giving the advantage to get discounts and bargains.

  Apparently, Forever 21 is offering shoppers who spend more than $25 online to a full year subscription to "Women's Health," and for men "Details" magazine. That's very thoughtful of Forever 21 to consider that probably majority of their shoppers are college students on a budget, who don't have enough time to be as health as they could be (assuming). But this doesn't hold for everyone of course, I'm only speaking for myself and others who are in similar situations. I've seen Forever 21 give the option to subscribe to other magazines as well, for instance "Allure" and I didn't accept them.

  But "Women's Health" made me change my mind, and I look forward to reading about ways to improve my health, and also enjoy what I have shopped for myself.
