As i'm a guy i wouldn't know but i've heard some of my lady friends say that its bad for them, they need to be able to move freely, plus i guess there's a hazard of "jamming", can't be good either.
I think breasts have to "take break" from bra as well. So no bra during sleeping
It doesn't seem to matter if you do or do not wear one to sleep. I choose not to since it is much more comfortable not to.
I always sleep in my bra, but then again, I'm an A-cup and my bras are comfortable for the most part.
Your "hot topics" really aren't hot topics. Try again.
I have pretty big boobs and sleep on my stomach so if I don't wear a bra I feel like I'm smashing them and it's uncomfortable. So I wear a bandeau bra or a flimsy/low-impact sports bra to keep things under control.
I don't and I doubt it's a good idea to keep them restricted all day. Probably depends on the size. Mine are biggest but not huge. Huge might need a bra so theyre not going everywhere, and smallish boobs probably are unaffected by a bra at night.
I'm sure it is okay.
Though I don't do it! As soon as I am home, I fling the thing off. They have been constricted long enough all day I say!I can count on one hand how many times I haven't slept in a bra. I'm a B though... it's more uncomfortable if I don't.
I am a size 36D, and I always sleep with a bra on (non underwire). I hate the feeling of them sagging every which direction. I sleep on my back, sides, and stomach throughout the night. If I walk around in my pj's without a bra, they hurt when they bounce with each step. So I pretty much wear a bra all the time...
It's really not sanitary. But google would have been a better resource than xanga.
I usually sleep in a sports bra; I, like Holly, do not like the feeling of my boobs unrestricted lol, and I'm a C cup. -shrug-
I don't sleep with one on. Just more comfortable and hygienic I think...
It's not illegal. Whether it's healthy probably depends on how tight the bra is.
Do I? No. Do I think its healthy? I think anything that unnaturally restricts what is supposed to bounce is unhealthy (including those crazy tight corsets.) Is it ok to wear one while asleep? I don't see why not. They're your boobs
btw...38 DD here. Sleep happily with no bra
I read recently that bras have nothing to do with sag factor anyway. It is all genetics. I rarely ever wear a bra, during the day or night, and mine are fine
Seems like a bad idea to me.. kind of gross.
No. There is a 3 out of 4 chance you will become pregnant and die.
i don't know about health but it is really bad for your BRA. sleep in a different bra than you wore all day, otherwise you might warp your underwire.
@NightShade_Tea@xanga - lmaooo Mean Girls for the win!
I HATE bras with under-wire so I wear sports bras ALL day AND night...I am not really bothered by it as I can hardly tell I have one on.
Never. In fact, I don't wear bras when I am at home. Yeah, I know, I'll have boobs down to my knees in a few years.
i have a sleeping bra, one of those Genie bras. super comfy and i don't wear it outside the house, it is designated for sleeping. i see a lot of people saying that it's unhealthy to wear a bra to sleep and that it's "gross". where does that even come from. i am only a "barely B" cup and i cannot, simply cannot, go braless.
