  • Kick-Ass Cardio: Boxing

    Perhaps the most flat-out exhausting workout out there, boxing integrates almost every muscle group in the body.

    The combined training elements of boxing constitute a full-body workout. With heavy emphasis on core training, balance, and lower-body stability, it offers a distinct change-up from some of the more conventional workouts out there.

    While you're no doubt going to get the best workout from sparring and hitting the heavy bag, shadowboxing is something you can do anywhere. Even Jillian Michaels works it in to her "20-minute shred" routine as the plyometric element of the tape's interval training.
