We all care about what our skin looks like; it's often people's first impression of us. Unfortunately, skin is fickle and likes to torment us with acne, oils and eventually wrinkles. It takes a lot to take good care of our skin, including
diet.
I've always heard to avoid greasy and oily food in order to keep my skin healthy, but according to this
article, there are a lot more foods and ingredients that cause skin problems.
There are some surprising foods, such as white breads, pastas and cakes, while there are not so surprising entries, like alcohol.
Are you surprised by some of these foods? Which ones do you avoid?

I think some of those things are bull. Like leafy greens being bad for you in any way.
Interesting. 90% of posts are 'foods you should eat because they're good for your skin'... much more useful to have a list of foods to avoid.
My skin cleared up immensely when I started avoiding dairy, grain, sugar, and alcohol. So yeah, I believe that. And I'm not afraid of shellfish or leafy greens.
i think it's a lesson in moderation. if you eat anything excessively, it will affect you adversely in some way. it's also a lesson in eating healthy things straight from the ground. processed white breads and pastas, processed corn syrup sugars, etc are no good anyway

i love dairy...
To be honest, most of those are foods to avoid for healthy anything, except for milk and shellfish, which are very good for you in moderation.
Moderation is the key to everything.
