I'm surprised more people don't have blogs here at healthkicker. Most people who participate here seem to be xangans!
Alrighty, so what have I done already?:
I've more or less crunched the numbers of the space we have alotted to us, all the stuff we're gonna get (though I'm working on the quantity as I go), I've so far bought:
Dwarf banana seeds
Blackberry seeds

Transplanted some things.
Gathered red maple seeds, and have a couple young maple trees that I'm raising (some're looking like they may die, won't know til next spring since they could just be going into an early sleep).
Mom's bought:
hot peppers
sweet peppers
bell peppers--
unknown but heirloom type peppers
hungarian wax peppers
eggplant --
beefstake tomato--
unknown new type of tomato
roma tomatos
danvers carrot
red creole onion
green everbunching onions
califlower
spinach
collards
cohlrabi

Means: I was gonna buy 'em, but Mom went on a shopping trip and got them.
Not all the things that Mom's bought have arrived yet.
My seeds have.
I've also bought some lemongrass today.
Plants we currently have:
I have...
mimosa flamboyante in the house
unknown type of rose bush. I'm told they'll have pink flowers.
A miniature rose, red flowers. Keeping indoors.
Hyssop
The family has...
strawberries
purple lilac
white lilac (I'm nursing this one back to health indoors atm)
Mom has...
lots of indoor plants that I have no idea what they are.
Rhubarb
chard
We've not yet transplanted or gathered seeds from:
sunflowers
corn
mint
marigolds
and some other things...but I forget what they are lol.
^ The directly above are on my to-do list.
Also on my to-do list:
Start digging new beds
work on compost/mulch
figure out how many plants I need to grow, where based on how much it'd produce and how to maxmize the health of the plants.
Plant my blackberries
find a pot to start my dwarf banana in
buy more plants/seeds (like buying this wolfberry aka goji seeds in a little over an hour on ebay)
